"I recently stayed at the Tru by Hilton in Gilbert and absolutely loved it. So, when we decided to visit El Paso, I had to check. From the get go Garrett the guest services clerk was friendly, attentive, and personable. A short time after checking in Garrett texted me asking if we needed anything. The room was as modern as it gets. And the breakfast was top-notch. Tru has become one of my go-to accommodations."

"This was our first time a Tru, as a loyal Hilton honors member, I know their standards. Unfortunately, the bed frame sticks out from the bed, and the desk chair is so close that we keep hitting our shins on the bed. The frig is small and froze everything. There is no microwave in the room. Nice concept with communal space, but the extra small room was not expected. Hotel staff were accommodating and friendly."
"Check in was good. Guy was very nice and welcoming. The room lacked on cleanliness. Counters had spills on them and the floor needs moping. It must be an older property locking at the wear and tear around. The lobby was way to warm Saturday and Sunday morning, I almost past our both days and couldn't enjoy breakfast in the lobby. I encountered Saturday and Sunday morning, and then again Sunday evening, that the front desk staff disappears. No note, no answer when you call the hotel. This location does not have a business center even though it says it online. The fridge froze my food so I had to discard it. Good location to where we needed to go. Lots of outlets in the room."
"Not your typical Hilton brand hotel. The rooms are small with cheap furnishings and a hard bed. I used priceline to book my room, and when I arrived, I was told I was being charged an extra $75 for a pet fee even though pets are allowed. I explained to the clerk that he was a service k9, didn't matter to him and I was charged. This is the first Hilton property I've been to that charged this fee, and it will sure be my last. Hilton, you have lost a long time customer!"
