"They lie about the classes. They set it up so you can’t find out about the class until an hour before, so you are either stuck or lose several hundred dollars. They say they will send you the information about the class 72 hours prior but only send it an hour before it starts so you can’t cancel. My wife is gluten intolerant and if I would have gotten that email I would have been able to reschedule or cancel for the 48hour notice. But they are all about making money. I will never support this place again and have been a customer for a while. What a joke."
"Had a good time, but the chef seemed a little scattered about explaining certain key parts of the cook. They let you know ahead of time that you will be sharing, but it's a lot of sharing considering your group of 4 paid $360 altogether for the experience. Chocolate souffle was burned and not cooked all the way through due to oven malfunction. Not great spatial planning for large groups."
"I was disappointed with the cooking class. You'd think for $80 per person, they'd provide enough food for each couple (or group of 4) to make their own meal. They divided the 16 people in 4 groups of 4, who then made 3 pans of paella to share. If you insist on breaking us up into groups of 4, why not give each group a pan? Otherwise one group is standing there awkwardly watching others cook. The servings at the end were pretty small, some people took too much and didn't leave enough for others. All in all, I enjoyed the class we took during COVID better. I think because we couldn't share back then, each couple was able to cook their own meal from start to finish. For the price you pay I'd think that'd be the standard."
"Wow! What a fantastic evening we had with the cooking class. The chef and sous chefs are so knowledgeable and organized. The menu was exciting and easy to learn. The dinner we made was delicious- well worth the money. Afterwards, as we shopped, Julie was engaging and kind. We enjoyed chatting with her. Thank you to everyone there for making our date night one to remember!"
