"The rooms are great but that's all you will get. We came to town for an event and paid extra for the hotel with a pool... when we got here and paid we found out this hotel rents rooms to locals for access to the pool to hold birthday parties. The pool area was overrun by children celebrating and adults playing loud music. Balloons and party favors everywhere. If you are looking for a quiet experience and access to a pool, this is not the place. The pool should not be listed as an amenity when it is being rented (for the price of a room) for parties."

"December 2023-passing through Lubbock and decided at the last minute to spend the night. An excellent deal of 74.00 on Expedia. Check-in was smooth and the lady was courteous and very helpful. There are restaurants (Salt Grass, Taco, Starbucks place & others) (Target , Ross Burlington) and shopping center 1/2 mile away. Main Event fun plex is behind the hotel. Great location! The lobby and room was clean and comfortable. The linens are soft. Plenty of hot water. Shower pressure was medium and fan in bathroom did not work. Heater worked well in the room and easily adjustable with the wall thermostat. The furniture appeared to be new. Pulled off linen’s before using and bed checked out clean. Large room. The amenities were full sized Dove soap’s & shampoo. Would definitely stay here again! Recommend"

"Wonderful stay. Stayed a few days to visit our kids and be here for the birth of our beautiful granddaughter. Rooms were cleaned daily, breakfast was good and employees were friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you to all the staff."

The front desk attendant, with a warm smile and a welcoming demeanor, quickly processed my arrival, ensuring I didn't have to linger in my travel-weary state. The staff, recognizing my early arrival, offered a complimentary breakfast and access to the lounge to relax while my room was being prepared. The staff was not only efficient but also genuinely caring, inquiring about my journey and offering local tips to make my stay more enjoyable. "Summary: Would probably not choose this hotel in future. Pros: Excellent staff. Friendly, helpful, very pleasant all the way. Giselle specifically. Superb person. - Overall, housekeeping did a good job. Room was clean and no real issues there. Cons: - Unfortunately many. First: Doors on many rooms are/seem too small. You can see light when walking the halls. Our door seemed a bit "loose" in this regard. - Very poor soundproofing, likely exacerbated by the above problem. You could hear everything in the halls and sometimes other rooms. Made for a noisy night even though people weren't in general being noisy. - The bed was very hard, like, Flintstones hard. As a result it was challenging to get comfortable. - The lobby was crazy warm. Staff had to keep a fan on themselves. Guests basically wouldn't have that luxury. We simply passed through quickly. - Lastly, because small things matter, the TV was in SD. I haven't watched a standard def TV in maybe 15 years? 20?.... For a modern hotel and national brand... That's not acceptable."
