"When arriving after driving hours to get here, they didn't have my reservation and didn't even try to accommodate us in anyway. Employees at first desk was unprofessional and rude. We needed up staying next door which was a nicer and cleaner facility (Country Inn). Our friends did stay here but had to wait an hour for their room to be cleaned which should have already been cleaned it was 430. I would never recommend to stay here."

"My mom stayed here when she was visiting me, they have bed bugs and refuse to give refunds. The manager is extremely rude and hung up on my mom when she was trying to explain the situation to her. Disgusting place disgusting people."

"I stay at primarily Choice Hotels when traveling. This is definitely one I would stay at again during my next trip in that direction. Clean rooms, quiet hotel, near food and fun."

"We made reservations for this Quality Inn as we were going to be in this area. This hotel is vintage in its style, which I love. The room was a decent size and the beds comfortable. It has some updates with carpet and furniture being older. It had a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave and the bathroom had been updated. The breakfast was a hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausages and potato wedges as well as cereal, juice and coffee. I was very pleased with the hot breakfast. The service was good and the people friendly. There were bathroom facilities close to the breakfast area which is always a plus. And while I am not one who smokes there were designated smoking areas. We were happy with our stay there and would not hesitate to stay there again. I am saddened by those who are writing bad reviews for this hotel. Unfortunately we live in a time where people can write bad reviews for no true valid reason. This harms a hotels business and will always come back to you in some fashion. Whatever energy we put out into the universe always comes back to us."

"Please do not make the mistake that I did in booking this hotel! I was in town for a graduation and booked this location last minute for one night. It was absolutely disgusting. 1. The comforter was covered in stains and the bed-skirt looked as if it had never been cleaned, 2. over the course of a couple hours, I saw 2 roaches in the restroom, 3. the room I stayed in had no room number, I had to look for the neighboring room's number to make sure I was entering the correct unit, 4. none of the surfaces are clean, the restroom floor had what appeared to be a small feces smear, with the previous tenants hair still all over the place, 5. the neighborhood is very sketchy! I ended up leaving and just spending my time in Lubbock with family in a different hotel FAR from this one. I filed a formal complaint with Choice Hotels after attempting to be refunded for the room (to no avail). Hopefully this hotel will hold themselves to a higher standard, and give their future guests the quality of comfort they deserve. DO NOT BOOK if you are a normal person like me looking for a average quality hotel."
