"We loved it here!! the room was clean. The people at the front desk were amazing!! I really thought I wasn't going to like staying here, but I really loved it. The breakfast was also warm and tasty!! Thank you, again Holiday Inn !! if we ever go up to Lubbock, we will be staying here for sure."
"I’ve stayed here twice in the past year while traveling across Texas. The location is convenient as it’s right off the interstate with many restaurants within short driving distance. The room is always clean and the bed is very comfortable. The lights in the parking lot are very bright, likely to deter theft. My only complaint this last time is that the thicker curtains didn’t close all the way so the room was super bright throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep."
"Good place to stay when driving through Lubbock. Room was clean and had everything we needed (towels, bathroom soaps, etc.). Walls were thin, so did hear people coming late and leaving early in the morning but that’s to be expected at a hotel. Only real issue was breakfast. I don’t expect much from a large hotel breakfast, but was disappointed when I went at 9 am and almost all of the hot options were gone. I still had plenty of assorted breads and cereals to choose from, but it would have been nice if the hot options were restocked (especially since there were two hours of breakfast left)."
"Strong smell in the room, only dissipated by running the AC. Went to ask for extra pillow (there were 4 of us in the room, 2 adults 2 children) but only 6 pillows and three of us needed to double up) and were told there were no extra after the desk lady (nice enough person) went back behind the desk to check. Don’t understand why a pillow cannot be taken from an empty room - the hotel did not appear anywhere near full. Disappointing as we often stay in the holiday inn express but this one seems older and run down and they don’t seem to be well stocked with bedding items. Two pillows are important to us for sleep quality and I’ve not had issue with this request at other locations or hotels. It’s those little details in customer service/comfort that are often the difference between choosing a holiday inn express or a different hotel chain next time."
