"Wonderful piece of history! Ole Daniel has an awesome view and resting place!"
"You follow the yellow line to his grave! The view at his plot was absolutely beautiful. The graves were all so fascinating the dog tombstone was my favorite.. I love seeing the old graves above ground always amazes me. If you like visiting cemeteries you definitely need to give this place a try!"
"Worth a drive up to this beautiful Frankfort cemetery on the hill. Daniel Boone and his wife Rebecca have a prominent location overlooking Frankfort, the capital building and the Kentucky river. Many old gravesites dating back to the 1700. I’m not sure if you want to see, but there is a cemetery for unborn children in this cemetery…. we passed."
"Saw this spot while searching Frankfort on Google maps. We stopped on our way to the capital and glad we did. The way to the grave had alot of amazing headstones and monuments. It was exciting to discuss Daniel.Boone with the kids and wife. The view of the capital from the the grave is a unexpected benefit. If you got time, spend it walking and remembering all the other people in the graveyard."
"Amazing view of Frankfort, KY. Boone's grave sits on the edge of a high ridge. You can see the Kentucky River make a couple turns from that heighth. In the bend of the river sits Frankfort, KY. Stunningly beautiful. You have a very clear view of the capital building as well. There are nice walkways and signage leading you from cemetery entrance to Boone's grave. Would recommend to anyone. Fun for all ages!!"
