"My daughter was with flu and fainted. Had to call 911 and IV was given in the ambulance and took us here. She had to wait for almost 2 hours to get a room and start treating her. She had given another IV with some blood works and x-ray. She was in the room for an hour and after that sent home. Later I got surprised seeing almost $7000 bill. When I see few simple blood works I used to pay at Quest lab for about $30 they charged over $1000. Every other item in the bill is expensive. Insurance covered very little and refused to give any more discounts and suggested to talk to this facility on their expensive charges. When I called in billing , I was told that those are their charges and can't help. Really?, I had been to ERs couple of times earlier, never had received this much expensive bill. Never want to come back to this place and don't recommend others. Update: Contacted the owner who responded on this review (6 days ago), but no one has responded to my yet. Latest update: Sent another email 10 days ago, no one cared to respond. I believe these responses from them are just to show that they are taking care of the feedback, apparently they are not. Totally out of my consideration of this facility forever and would not recommend to anyone."
"The lady at the front desk (I believe her name is Astria unless she lied) gave me a bad taste. I brought my baby to this Urgent care because she was feeling ill. I provided my baby’s medical insurance card and she failed to enter the correct information into the system. She kept telling me our insurance was not active and saying the only way I could be seen was if I signed a form accepting that I would pay full price out of pocket along with a deposit. I left and went to another place close-by because I got tired of explaining to her going back and forth about my insurance being active even after showing her my phone and insurance card. I am glad I did go looking at this 2.9 rating. I provided them with the SAME information and they verified that my baby’s insurance was indeed active and they did not ask me for money. This same lady then claims I refused treatment but she refused my baby’s medical insurance even when it was active. Nobody in their right mind would sign to pay for the full medical treatment when they have insurance. “Astria” (if that is her name) needs to be retrained or look for another job because this was unnecessary at all. There’s no way she entered the correct information if another place was able to verify it right away using the same information provided just about 10 mins after leaving this place. I don’t even trust my baby going to this place or the hospital after this experience. The least she could have done was apologize for her mistake. Even if there are good doctors here, patients wouldn’t even know because she can’t even properly do her job. Im not sure if it’s the company’s unwritten rule discriminating against certain insurance or her just being incompetent, but it really made me think negative of this place. I am hoping after tonight she will actually be more thorough with her work with other people and stop being bare minimum and blaming patients on her mistakes."
"I'm surprise this facility is not rated at least 4.7 or even 5 stars. Been here a couple times with my toddler. Staff was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The wait wasn't too bad and the facility was very clean. I would recommend this place to any other parent over most urgent care facilities in the area."
"I am extremely disappointed with Cook Children’s Urgent Care Prosper. They do not take walk ins. Why even call yourself an urgent care? As long-term patients of Cook Children’s organization, we expected better. My daughter had a 103-degree fever and other concerning symptoms. Even though we had an appointment with her primary care physician, we rushed to the urgent care due to the weekend and office closure. We arrived at 8:30 pm, and they were open until 10 pm, yet they turned us away. This left us feeling helpless and frustrated. The lack of compassion and consideration for a sick child is unacceptable. I expected more from an organization we have trusted for so long.”"
"We love this facility! I have had to use them multiple times in the last almost 3 years for my son. His primary pediatrician can never get us in for a sick visit when urgent care can get us in same day. The front desk is very welcoming and so are the nurses. All the doctors we have seen are very caring and passionate. They listen to everything you say and are great with my son. They explain what they are doing every step of the way to him. We have never had a bad experience. We will always use this location for urgent care visits."
