"I had a fantastic experience with Tex Tune Automotive! The starter on my VW Vanagon went out, and I was having a very difficult time getting any mechanics to even take a look at it. I was turned away by 4 different shops, as not many people are familiar with the unique characteristics of older Volkswagens. Luckily, the tow truck company I was using suggested I give Brock at Tex Tune a call. He said Brock is the most knowledgeable Volkswagen mechanic he knows. He wasn't kidding! Brock was able to get the starter replaced with no problems. He went above and beyond by tracking down and fixing some small coolant and fuel leaks he found while working on the starter. "I came in because I didn’t pass inspection because I backed into a parked car and my tail light and bumper became a little loose. The owner mentioned he isn’t a body shop owner, he is a mechanic so he won’t be able to fix my bumper but could take a look at the tail light. I didn’t expect my car to be ready until end of day but 2 hours after dropping my car off, I received a text saying my car was ready.
