"On October 24 I got an email saying that the part they were waiting on had come in, to drop the vehicle off on October 30, and the it would be ready in eight days at the latest. After more than a dozen phone calls from both me and my insurance company, I went up Thanksgiving week to get something I'd left in the vehicle and it hadn't even been touched. It was only after threatening to take my business elsewhere that they finally decided to do the work. That's almost a month I could have been using my vehicle while they were holding onto it for absolutely no reason. Lest you think I was offered *any* kind of compensation for my inconvenience -- a discount,, or even a ride to come pick up the vehicle, think again. They get Two stars because the quality of the work was excellent, but I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience. EDIT: I did say something. With the increasingly irritable tone of my frequent phone calls and voice messages. And I did ask. Maybe I didn't ask for a ride, I asked if you would deliver the car to me, to which I was told, "No, we don't offer that service." One would think, if you offered a pick-up service you would have done so in that moment. Or, you know, mentioned it at literally any other time in the process."
"My 2015 Audi A6 Prestige was injured on the driver side. I was unable to open the door. Some Audi recommended body shops that I called had a 2 to 3 months wait-list. I could not climb over the console from the passenger seat for that long. I started visiting a few shops that I could get me in earlier. After a few I decided to bring my car to Discount Body Shop. Not for the discount (which was applied to my deductible) but because of the professional manner from the moment I arrived. The owner David greeted me and along with London went over all details of the repairs. I made an appointment to bring my car in the following week. The day of my appointment I had a flat tire and put the donut spare on to drive to the shop. I had not realized but London called and told me the donut spare had shredded on my drive there. The shop went out of their way to purchase a used tire (at no additional charge) for my car so I would be able to drive it after the repairs. That's great customer service! London negotiated and renegotiated with my insurance company for every detail. There were a few minor items that needed attention which were taken care of by the shop. My car looks great! The customer service is outstanding! Everyone from the office staff, London and Candy, to the auto body technicians brought my vehicle back to life. Thanks!"
"On a rainy week in Austin, I got caught in a dark street and ran through a giant formation of water and off went my bumper.. new to the area I was a bit wary of just showing up to a random body shop, but after a couple minutes with David, the owner, I knew i was in good hands. He took his time to walk the car and point out how badly the old bumper had been bent and the damage it had caused to the wiring harness. He ordered the parts right away and I dropped my car off the following Monday. The following week she was as good as new! The paint matched perfectly and while it was there, I opted for them to also buff out and repaint the front bumper that had already seen it’s fair share of poles. They were also proactive and even replaced some parking sensors that went into the bumper. I’m happy to now have a shop I know I can rely on."
