"Katy Mills five below is racist! So I come up to the register waiting for someone to check me out. This lady walked up behind me and straight to the register. She had no eye contact with me for a good 30 secs, and there wasn't anyone else in line. So I ended up confused and walked up to her and asked her if she's ready. She looked at me up and down and shrugged and said "if you are". So I took out my stuff and started taking out my cash, she still just standing there chewing gum. Until I said can I have a receipt with that. She looked at me and said " are you ready?". I'm so confused why she can't just automatically start scanning, there is no one else there but me and her. I said yes and she scanned and told me the amount I put the cash on the table. She hold out her hand and gave me a look, like she want me to put it in her hand the table is not good enough. I got upset at this point and ask for her name and I want to see a manager. To no surprise her name is Sadie and she is the manager. So after I told her to write down her name and I asked for a complaint number to call she told me there is no number, and if there is one she doesn't know. I was so mad at this point I have now idea why she's being racist to me just because I'm asian and she's African American. From now on I will not be going to five below because they don't hire the right minded people to manage the store."

"Horrible rude customer service. I walked in and was looking at a rug. After checking it out, I didn’t like it and I put it back where it was. This lady came out of nowhere and asked me rudely “Can you put that back down there”. I told her “I put it back where I found it”. Then she snatched the rug on shelf and threw it on the ground. That was really unnecessary."

"I heard that Five Below corporate is telling managers that they need to burn any books that have witch themes and I find it despicable that any company would burn books just because of what’s inside. If they are doing this, who knows what next could be on the chopping block of stuff to destroy. For a store named after a freezing temperature, they sure don’t mind heating up their products."
