"I’m so terribly disappointed! I went into the Soma Boutique this morning. Everything seemed ok at first. I walked in and was greeted with “hello welcome in”. I let the older associate know what I needed and she gave me two bras to try on. I chose what I wanted and again told the associate what I needed. She then grabbed the bras out of my hand and told me I needed to wait. I waited 30 minutes before I realized how many people were being helped and checked out. When one is standing or sitting for such a long time one begins to watch exactly what’s going on around them. All the people being assisted are Anglo! I’ve had to deal with this sort of discrimination all my life. I had been blessed to not have to deal with this sort of thing for a couple of years now so when it happened it was like a slap in the face. I finally left empty handed from your establishment. Why would anyone WANT to be so awful?"
