"I recently visited Uptown Cheapskate's Round Rock location to sell some clothes, and unfortunately, it was the second time I've encountered poor service there. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome. The girl who checked me in seemed visibly annoyed by the amount of clothes I brought in, even going as far as rolling her eyes and sharing disapproving glances with her colleague. As they sifted through my items, their behavior became even more unprofessional. They would hold up pieces of clothing, laugh, and aggressively toss them into bins without any regard for customer care. It was clear that they lacked respect and professionalism in handling customers' belongings. To make matters worse, their inappropriate behavior extended beyond their treatment of my clothes. Throughout my visit, I overheard them gossiping and making derogatory remarks about a coworker who wasn't present, commenting on her appearance and work ethic. This kind of behavior is not only disrespectful but also creates a toxic environment for both employees and customers alike. Overall, my experience at Uptown Cheapskate Round Rock left much to be desired. The lack of professionalism, rudeness, and gossiping amongst staff members made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, neither of which was evident during my visit. I sincerely hope that the management takes steps to address these issues and improve the quality of service at this location."

"Came here yesterday and my daughter 2 yrs old had a terrible accident and needed to use the restroom. They have no public restrooms. Not even for buying customers. Also encountered a situation selling clothes they are really cheap you are better off somewhere else!!!"

"This is the second time I visited and the 2nd time I can honestly say that half of the staff seemed irritated that they had to speak to you. I took clothes and shoes in for selling, got good prices for what they purchased thus the 2 stars. But again it came with a snarky attitude . Never offered to hand me my bags,I had to walk behind the counter to grab the unpurchased items. No thank you, come again, heck I’d have settled for a smart comment at least I’d know they knew I existed. Asked why they didn’t purchase and they couldn’t tell me. I delivered them pressed and folded and received them wadded up and crammed in the bags I used. I won’t be back in the store and had already purchased almost $200 in 2 visits. What a shame, but they will survive because there is a demand. I’m a customer service manager and I’d not let half the staff work on my team. UPDATE 12/28/23 15:24 Ali- the manager called and apologized for the situation and has done more than I ever would have expected. She is a great asset and I appreciate her customer service!
