"I haven't received a single piece of mail regarding my security deposit. I've been told by two different people in the last five months that it will be mailed to me. I have gotten zero mail. My lease expired and I moved out Sept. 1, 2023. I've called and spoken with numerous people many times, sent multiple emails, and now I'm leaving this review."

"I have nothing but bad things to say about Friedman. Ever since they took over as our property manager in December, there has been nothing but issues. I understand there being some hiccups in management change, but the level of tenant care and communication has gone way downhill, and trash has been piling up for over a month here. The property looks disgusting compared to how it did before! I wish our old management group and their staff was back because clearly this group does not know how to properly run a property and needs to stop taking on new ones"

"Since day one of moving into the Jefferson apartments in Detroit it’s been difficult and outright ridiculous. I signed a lease and was told if there’s any problems to put in a service request and they would get the situation handled. Moved in October 2023, the apartment was not cleaned, I had roaches in my refrigerator which took 2 weeks to receive a new one, bugs in my light housing, food and other miscellaneous in cabinets, doors not on track, leaking handles in my shower, ceiling is peeling, light bulbs that don’t work, balcony doors that you need strength to open, peeling rubber base around the bottle walls, broken tiles, cabinets that are unsafe to put weight in because they’re not properly secure to the wall which is a hazard and the biggest part of them all the i have barely any heat in my apartment. I email and asked over and over and it seems like i can’t get help. It’s winter time and there is no airflow in my bedrooms to warm them up. I have been turning on the water from the shower just to warm up my room. I still have hanging kitchen cabinets that are hazards. I’m being violated, stressed out and this is going against the fair housing act. I have put in work request that has been cancelled which doesn’t make sense and added again but still no result. Placing me putting over 22 work request. I’m going on paying four months rent while living completely uncomfortably and wrong. Talking to property management is a joke and a regional manager that doesn’t call back. Absolute worst experience of my life and now I’m stuck."

"This company is disgusting. It owns both Northwood Apartments and Colonial Forest Apartments in Jacksonville FL, and has let them fall to shambles around the residents that pay them. It's now at the point where the city of Jacksonville is condemning units and it's been on the top headlines of local news for over a week, with citations from Municipal Code Enforcement going back for over a year. They're legitimately falling apart, trash backed up so bad the dumpsters were repossessed, and god you should meet my roommates: cockroaches, termites, and thier cousins: the fire ants. This company is the perfect example of the future, where a slip of paper is more valuable than a human soul."
