"We have been here twice now, both times because we were dealing with surgery for our pet at a local pet hospital. Both times they were very accommodating and helpful, especially the most recent time. Barbara was extremely nice, helpful and it was greatly appreciated when dealing with something personal. She went above and beyond and we really appreciated it!"

"Staff was exceptional! We visited Detroit for a sports tournament and there was a couple of different teams staying at the hotel. The night time was quiet. The main lobby area was a great gathering spot. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel management arranged for the weekend breakfast to start sooner so that the kids could eat before we left the hotel. Big thank you for that!!! Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausages, bagels, cereal, muffins, fresh fruit and yogurt, juices, coffee/tea, milk. Special thank you to Keith and breakfast staff (Feb 16/17) ❤️"

"Rooms are poorly maintained. Lobby cleanliness is not high priority as idk when the last time it was vacuumed. The pool was cold a filthy! Hot tub was Luke warm. Breakfast was basic but tolerable. The staff were GREAT! Everyone was so very friendly. Ownership clearly isn’t putting any money into maintaining the place. We would NOt stay here again."

"Rooms look nice at first glance but in typical 3 star property fashion, you get what you pay for. The only problem is, these rooms cost a lot more than average and the conditions were disgusting. Soiled bed sheets, stained toilets and rooms that smell like smoke. Bad A/C units and dust everywhere. The cleaning are working hard, you see them everywhere but they are not given much to work with at this location. This happened in 3 different rooms. Also, Breakfast is a joke. The prices for these rooms are too high for this to be acceptable."

"This Springhill has been newly renovated. You could still smell the new carpet smell in the halls. Our room was immaculate. Lovely large bath towels. Soap, shampoo and conditioner in large pump bottles in the shower. Real glass glasses!. The pillows were great. The bed was OK. My husband thought it was more comfortable than I did. The couch appeared to be brand new. The hotel serves breakfast. This morning, there were waffles, real oatmeal, not the instant packets, fruit. A variety of breads and eggs and sausage. Also white and chocolate milk, juices and coffee. Out only complaint was the coffee was only lukewarm. Check-in is super easy as was check out. Very friendly staff."
