"I've been living here for 3 years and the leasing office (Jenna & Kristen) always provide exception and friendly service. The maintenance team does similarly exceptional work and I'm always happy to great them and have pleasant chats around the property."

"Shoreview was such a wonderful place to live. It is a great location, balanced between nature and the city; comforted by an attentive staff and maintenance team. If I lived in the area moving forward, I would absolutely continue renting here. If it is within your price range, this is the place to be. "We were very tempted by the location and new appliances. Only reason for stars. Exterior doors were often propped, and if they did close, wouldn't lock. Whenever work was done, like roofing or repaving, there was never notice given, and often the projects would sit partially complete for weeks to months. Various buildings were not up to code for the entire time we were here. The foundation is cracking in the building we were in. Basements leaked into storage. The pool was not maintained and turned green every summer. During the onset of the covid pandemic neighbors and staff did not consistently wear masks. Laundry was expensive and often out of order."

"The buildings are routinely not up to city code, and leak lots of water into the basement every time it rains and for the week following. The buildings are also poorly secured, with many broken exterior doors never being fixed or locked. Neighbors don’t seem to look after each other. The renovated units are sloppily done; doors were never fitted properly, and plumbing issues were common. Many times we went without hot water or heat for days on end during the winter due to lack of regular inspections and building maintenance. Lastly, the laundry machines are prohibitively expensive and work inconsistently, often breaking down multiple times during one load; management refuses to do anything or provide an alternative. One positive star given for new appliances and carpeting, and the location by the parks and river."

"We lived at this residence for 2 years and had a good experience overall. We had quite a few small maintenance issues over our time at Shoreview, but Justin and the gang were always quick to respond to our requests. Our biggest complaint is the laundry setup...the machines are small, expensive, and are constantly out of order; unfortunately they are outsourced to a separate company so they are not the maintenance team's issue. Very happy we spent our time in Ann Arbor here, right next to the Huron River, utilizing the pool, adequate parking, and basement storage unit provided."
