Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel

"Great rate compared to other hotels. Rooms are updated and clean. Gave us late checkout. We enjoyed our stay. Will book again if we come back to Ann Arbor."

"Recently had a conference at this hotel. The hotel was nicely updated, staff provided great service and food was good. Due to the conference the hotel was overbooked. Unfortunately they had to move me to a hotel nearby. The manager on staff apologized and abided by the Marriott guidelines in these situations. I've needed to follow up with them afterwards and always communicated in a professional manner. Located just off the highway and near lots of restaurants."

"Over 250 lifetime stays with Marriott.. worst experience by far. Show up after getting in late and got walked, not to a nearby hotel, but to a Fairfield in Canton. I was told everything would be taken care of when we got there, it was not. The two hotels couldn't agree on how to pay for the room, at which time it was quite late, so I put the room on my card to secure it and got to sleep. I was assured it would be taken care of by morning so I didn't have to pay. It was not. So, the payment for the room I got walked to was on my card and I was told the manager at the Sheraton would get it sorted in the next few days as my stay took me back there. It was not. More detail on how they managed to mess up the reservation for days 2 through 5 are absolutely mind boggling to where Marriott central reservations simply paused and apologized at how badly the hotel was screwing it up. I stopped by daily to check if the manager was either reimbursing me or cutting me a check, I was assured this would happen the next day all the way until the last day. I didn't happen. I was told it would be mailed, it was not. Overall, management was completely inept. Front desk and all staff was kind and a great hotel, but management in this situation was awful. Won't stay here again, but I'll continue being a Marriott customer."

"The rooms are fairly recently updated and very clean. The common areas were uncomfortably cold. The price of our room was increased because the hotel was the epicenter of the event. Shuttles left from the hotel and part of the event (tailgate) was held in the ballroom. Our room was $375, which was quite high for a basic room. The food was perhaps the worst food we have ever had in a hotel. Our event included a tailgate party in the ballroom. The management should be embarrassed at the quality, taste and presentation of the food. It was less than one star. The beef burgers were overcooked and mediocre to poor quality meat. The lukewarm hot dogs were very standard bulk hot dogs with very standard big box buns. The veggie burgers were undercooked and fell apart when attempting to take them. The chafing pan was full of broken pieces. They were literally semi-wet mush. The breakfast burritos were essentially fried tater tot roll ups with maybe a tablespoon of scrambled egg and a sprinkle of cheese and they were served at room temperature. In fact, nothing was warm. It was an absolutely terrible, ill prepared and very unhealthy spread of food. No one in our group could eat much of anything. While the hotel works from a menu confirmed and paid by the event hosts, the quality, preparation and taste of the food is on them. Would absolutely not recommend utilizing this facility for any event that includes food!"

"Great location approximate to downtown A2! The entire hotel is tastefully decorated, rooms included, and the luxury spa showers in the room were amazing. Super clean! Lots of options for food nearby if you don't want to venture too far. Definitely would stay here again if I find myself in the area."
