"After planning a much-anticipated getaway, I was diagnosed with COVID-19 a few days before my scheduled arrival. Understanding the importance of public health guidelines and wanting to act responsibly, I immediately contacted the hotel to discuss my options, hoping for a compassionate consideration of my situation. To my dismay, the hotel's response was rigid and unsympathetic. Despite providing a doctor's note and fully explaining my circumstances, I was informed that their policy did not allow for any refunds or credits for cancellations due to illness, including COVID-19. This policy, in my view, not only lacks compassion in a global health crisis but also indirectly encourages guests to ignore symptoms and travel plans to avoid financial loss, potentially endangering other guests and staff. The hotel's insistence on adhering strictly to their cancellation policy without room for exceptions in extraordinary circumstances like a pandemic is concerning. It not only reflects poorly on their customer service ethos but also raises questions about their commitment to public health and safety. I would never consider staying here again and you shouldn't either."

"Nice hotel! The staff are truly helpful and lovely people. The restaurant/bar's difficulty with managing the needs of large groups staying at the hotel are indicative of a larger communications issue that should be addressed. When local or university attached institutions house large groups at the hotel - the bar should be notified and prepared to be open a bit longer and to have a few more service persons on staff. That said Armando at the bar and Braxton at the front desk are true rockstars and amazing people!! Thanks for a lovely stay!"

"Obviously the location is great if you want to be close to campus. The decor is rather dark which shows dust. My room could’ve used a dusting. The bathroom is rather on the small side which is not great for a taller person. They definitely need some type of after hours snack/ beverage service. It tends to attract more of a louder crowd. The restaurant bar staff were great. The valet staff could use some training."

"We stayed here for 2 nights. The staff was friendly and rooms were clean. The location is the best thing about this hotel. Our room on the 13th floor was an extremely hot and the thermostat did not work to cool it down. We were told that we would have to turn it off and open the windows to cool it down. The hotel was aware of a planned power outage, but did not inform us until check-in. While it may not have changed our plans to stay here, it would have been nice to receive a phone call or email in advance."

"Everything was solid. The hotel is very cool. Location is awesome. Rooms could be bigger but aside from that very clean and comfortable. One thing I would like to point out is the valet service. Justin and the guys were awesome. I’ve worked in the hotel business for many years and I’ve never seen a smoother valet operation. The guys were professional, welcoming, and efficient. Great team."
