Lake Forest Apartments

"Update: our half bathroom is now leaking into and through the downstairs neighbors ceiling…… I cannot believe how horrible these apartments are. It’s actually funny at this point… I have been living here since October of this year and I will be honest I do not like it here AT ALL. The apartments themselves are extremely dated, do not have an in unit washer and dryer, I had to call maintenance twice because our tub and our kitchen sink kept clogging. I always have such a hard time finding a parking spot that’s within a reasonable distance of my apartment when I get home from work. Quite literally not enough parking spots. The walls are so thin and the neighbors coming in and out of the building are always SLAMMING the front door. Most recently to add to my dislike, me and my roommate came home to a notice on our door for a violation of our lease due to a noise complaint. We are very quiet and both work off shifts (2nd and 3rd shift), so we are typically asleep and gone at night. We went down to speak to the manager and she said that the noise complaint was that we had like 8 kids running inside and outside of apartment…. We are 20 and 24 year old women… We do not have kids. Not to mention, the manager even said that the caller kept referring to “he” and “his” apartment, but didn’t even think to call us and discuss the odd complaint prior to putting the notice on our door. This place is just extremely ridiculous to me and that complaint was the final straw. The manager was nice about it and put a note in our profile that we talked about it, but it’s just annoying because why was common sense not used here? The notice said we could potentially get evicted for such violations and they didn’t even think to investigate a little more before threatening our livelihood? Overall, I do not enjoy living here at all and I cannot wait for the lease to be up on April! ALSO, a lot of their good reviews are actually bribes because they offer gifts in exchange for good google ratings. This place is no good."

"We love this place so much. They were so friendly when we came to tour the apartment all the way to now where we have lived in our apartment for a few months. The apartments are spacious and the balconies are so large with a great view. Two pools makes for a great summer swim and the lake makes for a great view! It's tucked back away from the main road too so there isn't really any traffic noise! They have always answered all our questions super quickly and thoroughly and anything we have needed it's been super easy to get addressed. It's a great place to live and we don't see ourselves moving any time soon!"

"We are in our first year here and love it. We have an incredible view of the lake and lots of Mature trees. The path down to the lake is a perfect morning walk and they even have a little beach area with chairs to sip your coffee. We also have an extremely large patio that fits our outdoor table and our patio set! The complex is well maintained and very quiet. Love that they are pet friendly! Definitely recommend for young professionals who work downtown as it's a 5 minute commute."
