"Stayed one night,everyone else was booked,cob webs in every corner,mildew in shower,very out dated,which isn't bad,just keep it clean! And needs to be aired out musty smell,we had to go to days inn to get the key,if Days Inn is managing this place,very poor job!! Seriously, it wouldn't take much to put a little TLC in this place,oh did I mention the carpet,gross, gross, probably from the 50's, for the price they charge,very very low key, and it's right in Mackinaw City,such a dump!!"

"Only stayed one night, which was a blessing. Rooms are dirty, outdated, and plumbing is horrible. Parking lot is used by Dixie Saloon restaurant staff to take smoke breaks in. Parking lot had old food left in it. Reservations were lost and had to book again on the day of stay. Carpets were worn and stained. Nothing was plugged in. I think this is mainly a flop house for seasonal workers. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE."

"Worst hotel I have ever stayed at! For one the picture that are posted online are not what it actually looks like. And everything is very out dated! We changed rooms at first because the room we first had was “the cabin” I’m pretty sure you could have knocked the door in for that room and the smell was horrible! And the flooring was horrible and paint was peeling off that wall. Then went and asked for a different room because that room was not worth $200 and it wasn’t even apart of the actual hotel.. was just a little house off the hotel that had two rooms and a bathroom and a very small kitchen. The bed at this hotel are also horrible. The ground would probably be more comfortable!"

"There is no one in the office. You have to call a number on the office door to book a room and they drive up you book and they leave. Or you can go across the street to aoreillys to book s room. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY FIRST CLUE. They said it was a queen size bed,it was not it was a double. There were spiders in the corner of the ceiling.. They are making attempts for improvements as in New Towels and bedspread. The paint is peeling off of the wood railings as they put us in the house across the parking lot. Upstairs is renting out. They vacuumed at 10 o'clock at night. Then the occupants talked until 2;15 in the morning. At intervals that would pound on their floor which was our ceiling so that kept us awake. Then when they were talked out they turned the TV on loud enough we heard the program just like the TV was on in our room. Due to the fact the motel is unmanned there was no one to deal with the issue.. When I tried to discuss with managers I was told by the person who answered that she does work for them nut did not know who the manager was or who owned the motel. But I did learn a valuable lesson. If it looks bad it usually is. Needless to say I would give this the worst rating available. Wish I could say different but I cannot. Keep going right past this one."

"We booked , at 4pm our room was not ready. Our room turned out to be a converted old house. It was clean, but everything was outdated. Only had 2 bedside lamps. It was the cheapest place. All other available hotels being 350.00 plus a night. Attractions are all within walking distance. There was no one on site to assist except for the housekeeper who was busy trying to get rest of rooms cleaned. No extra amenities...."
