This last visit the staff called him to ask if he wanted to switch dates because rain was expected! The rooms are right on the lake. Few frills, but simple is all we need."
"We stayed here 2 night in early October during a lighthouse tour along the Lake Huron shoreline. The room was clean and bed comfortable - only drawback is the pillows were a little too soft for our liking. Breakfast is a small bag of goodies that helped start our day. It was convenient to the main area and access to Mackinaw Bridge. We would recommend and stay again. If you need a pool, microwave, or lots of amenities look in town. We love the cozy feel and less crowds. The room had the perfect view for sunrise! We visited the bridge at night and crossed over it as well - scary for someone driving who does like heights."
