"The room was clean. The room was quiet and it was nice the window opened to get a little fresh air. Close to shops and ferries! Would stay there again! Great overnight. Stop to rest up and catch an early morning ferry! The staff was friendly. The breakfast left something to be desired. Skip the breakfast you'll thank me."

"Worst service at a hotel!!! Our high school team was there for a cross country race. The parents were in the lobby playing cards. There was another group of 8 women there that were extremely loud and obnoxious. That group was asked once by hotel staff to quiet down. 5 minutes after that the hotel staff member came back yelled at all of us to leave the lobby. One of our teachers asked why we had to leave as we were not the ones causing the problem she then said because she said so or she was calling the cops. We were sent to our rooms at 9:30 at night on a Friday. We as a group paid a lot of money to stay at that hotel that weekend and did not even get to use the amenities that we paid for. It was absolutely ridiculous."

"While doing a sort of circle tour of the UP, family and I stayed here a few days ago. Our room was quite clean, well stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. It was also nice to soak in the hottub after a long day of driving. Wifi worked really well also. Waking up the next morning, we had a very satisfying continental breakfast. The staff here were quite pleasant, able to attend to most issues with proficiency. We will more than likely stay here again the next time we travel through the area. I highly recommend the Baymont by Wyndham."

"Very pricey compared to other hotels in town, but one of the few places with decent reviews (I guess you get what you pay for). It was older and felt a bit run-down. It was fine, though, for an overnight stop. Our room was clean and comfortable and in a safe area, which are the most important things to us. The front desk clerk was very friendly."
