"Great price. Quickest checking time I’ve ever had anywhere. Large room. Older furnishings. All great. Drawbacks (I have an OCD thing): the vent above the toilet was disgusting with dust and webs, the cleaning crew needs to also take the attachment off the vacuum and go around the floorboards, Dusty about two inches out all the way around room. Overall, I’d stay there again."

"Clean beds and linen. Front desk staff was nice. Shower was hard to adjust to desired temp. You can be showering and suddenly the water temp gets almost scolding hot. (Probably a toilet flush from adjacent room?) Don't get excited about the provided breakfast. They also stop serving at 9:00 AM. They do have grills available, (I didn't use them) to cook dinner, however, if you do, you will have half the customers watching you. If you are a guy, see picture, the toilet in our room (211) was NOT elongated."

"I booked a small getaway for my two young boys and I. The night before were were supposed to leave there was storms around my house. Two 100+foot trees got knocked over (uprooted) and landed right on my car, crushing it. I was so overwhelmed, especially knowing I needed a little getaway. I decided to rent a car and still go. When we finally got on the road about 5 p.m. the day of check in I got a phone call from the extremely nice staff. They asked if I would be making my booking and what time I would arrive? I told them I hope to be there by 9 PM. I got there by 9:05, and the staff was very understanding. They said wow you were determined!! I said thank you for waiting for me. I have zero complaints about the room we ended up with. It was clean, and the kids were happy. We had a great 48 hours in Mackinac city thanks in part to the wonderful people at Americas best value inn Mackinac city. Thank you guys so much."

"Room was good, a little dated and plain, but it was very clean and the beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. Front desk staff was great and very accommodating. Breakfast was nothing great but it's free so, there's that. They say it's a "hot" breakfast but that's only on Saturday and the only hot items are make your own waffles and canned biscuits and gravy. The rest of the week is grab and go continental minimal. I wish the room had a microwave to go with the fridge. TV was VERY small for the size of the room but we didn't watch it, we were the to do stuff not hang out in the hotel. Just slept there. A TON of bikers checked in one night and were really rowdy until 11pm when staff put them in check. I appreciated that because I was tired after a long day. You're able to get discounted tickets for Sheplers ($2 or $3 off). All and all, not a bad motel, not a 5 star resort but it's very budget friendly. I would stay there again. Thanks hotel staff for dealing with the bikers. I like bikers but that was a little rowdy even for me."

"The pool and ease of access to Mack City was great. Bed - Rock Hard, Floor- colder than ice warped vinyl that was always dirty. This meant so were your feet when getting into bed or I untying on socks and shoes. Toilet-stopper leaked the entire time so the toilet was always running. Shower- A low flow shower head that actually had nice pressure; just a really small stream. The fluctuating water tempreture made it impossible to take a decent "clean-feeling" shower. And the drain was always plugged so standing in the filth you washed off of you was less than pleasing. In addition to all of that; you could hear every door slam and every foot fall everywhere. Appreciated the room to camp in, but the "value" was not spent in motel upkeep. At least in our room. Super nice staff"
