"Stayed one night at the Lamplighter. We were looking for a non-chain motel that would allow our dog. We found a great place in a great location. Two blocks from the bridge park, restaurants, and shops plus no bugs flying around since away from the water. The room was very nice and clean. The owners were very friendly and welcomed our dog. The campfire at night was great. We will be staying here from now on when we visit Mackinaw City. Can't say enough good things about this place. Come see for yourself."
