"Leasing office girls are amazing! They're super easy to work with when there is a problem. Maintenance team is phenomenal. It's a great place to live! School district is awesome as well. Best place I've lived in a long time! I definitely recommend living here."
"Don't do it . It's a trap. maintenance manager will profile you or your family by going through your trash or make up some kind of way to have you evicted. They also drive over trash and stones to be flung about with the maintenence equipment to leave dents in your car and trash everywhere. Oh to top that my 79 year old mother is being evicted because they think I live with her and I'm not the lease say my mother lives there but I can't be on the premisis but it's ok for management to go through trash to look at mail to see who does what with whom. If you love your life go elsewhere. I have enough trash on these people to save to whole complex .my words are more sturdy than the patchwork in the road or the jenkyness of every foundation. He's done this in Lafayette too . Don't be profiled. Run....save yourself the headache .welcome to seneca where all speech is free and will stand up for eveyperson who suffers in seneca"
"PART 2 being able to open drawers even for that matter, or the dishwasher not completely sliding out from under the counter when trying to open it, bathroom/interior doors being able to close, sliding door being able to lock, w/d was not there but paid for, windows don’t stay up, bathroom vent didn’t stay open, piping on the front porch missing, window screens broken, bathroom cabinet broken, orange streaks and brown spots of soil all down the walls, chipped paint all over the floor, large pool of candle wax melted into the living room carpet, debris and bits of trash all over the floor, it smelled terrible, everything was absolutely filthy, and probably more I cannot remember right now. When I called the office and listed only a few of things, Maria actually thought I was complaining too much and I was being too picky about how nice the unit should be. During my leasing process, Maria told me there would be a walkthrough, done by her I’m pretty sure, to identify basic things, have them fixed, and walkthrough again to make sure. This clearly was not done and still after 3 years when I ask them about these walkthroughs, they STILL will not give me a response. Not in total, but there were 3 snakes in my apartment in one day… and I didn’t find them all at once either… I also had issues with the neighbors; the kids stealing decorations, throwing stuff at my unit, hitting my car with toys, swinging on my very loose mailbox, digging up my flower bed, damaging my patio furniture and outside vent, one little girl actually ran up to my living room window and pressed her face against the glass trying to look inside, if I sat out on my porch, there were a handful of times where that same little girl, and separately two little boys, will just stand front of my porch staring at me uncomfortably. If I say hello, they don’t speak, they just keep staring…it’s weird, uncomfortable, and I pay just as much in rent as everyone else. I should be able to use my porch, flower bed, etc. but my neighbors and their kids get to have their own front yard and mine for free on my dime. I brought this up to the office, and they said if I could get a picture and forward it to them, they would address it. A year later, when I brought this up again, I was told I needed to get the children’s addresses or else they wouldn’t do anything. I’m not sure they’ve never interacted with a child before, but a misbehaving child is not going to readily give a stranger their address so they can get in trouble… I’m a stranger asking children for their address…? That’s a viable plan? I am so shocked and appalled at how this place operates, it’s unbelievable. If I could find a place that I wouldn’t have to pay more for and lose having my own w/d, I would break my lease and launch myself from this place, it would be worth it. There were so many ridiculous occurrences with this place that I cannot even remember them all. This place has caused me so much stress I’ve had to take days off of work to cope, another day for court, and I even took a half day so I could get my rent check to them on time and avoid getting another fee. The mental anguish this place has caused me has truly taken its toll."
"PART 1 This place is an absolute nightmare. They lie to your face, ignore your concerns, and stand outside smoking all day long. I asked to move to a new unit and Maria in the office told me there were no empty units, but I see an empty unit w/in eyeshot of my porch. I was harassed and threatened w/ fines for having a small fire pit not put away, but there are tenants will full bbq set ups that have been there since I lived here. I asked management about it and they complete ignored me, but responded later that about my rent payment. The “office” on site is a JOKE. They have no info on how anything works so you have to call the main “real” office, but no one is in that office, they don’t return your calls, or messages, and if it’s concerning fees, they let them just pile up w/o any itemized bill, professional communication whatsoever; they tried to evict me and it was a godsend because I could call them out in front of a judge, not to mention, get some of the money back that they owed me and would not acknowledge. Other attorneys there thought I was an attorney…(I’m a 31 yo single black woman, lab tech), they had no significant argument and I was able to successfully dispute their accusations. They don’t keep track of what you pay them so when they owe money, they “don’t know and you have to call the actual office”. But just before the court date, Maria, catches me outside, informing me my balance increased by almost $2,000; shocked I ask why, and she says, “oh you have to call the office and ask them”. What was the point of her involvement then? She had no idea what was going on. Upon signing my lease, one of the options to pay rent was with a secure dropbox, making the cutoff time 11:59pm on the 5th of the month. Without warning, they decided to no longer provide a secure dropbox, making the cutoff time 4:59pm on the 5th. I work 9-5 Mon-Fri, their exact office hours. This allowed them to pile on fee after fee every month. I repeatedly called, begging them for viable options to pay and trying to work within them, I even offered to pay extra if I could drop my check in the evening with one of the office workers that live on site, I tried bringing them a check early, setting up automated payments with my bank…nothing. They said no to everything and refusing to show an ounce of professionalism, humanity, nor workmanship. This is all aside from the mountain of maintenance issues there were upon moving in 3 years ago, and half of them are still not fixed. Basic things like kitchen drawers not falling out of the cabinet, or being… CONTINUED IN PART 2 DUE TO REACHING MAX CHARACTER COUNT"
"Good schools, but if you irritate the management they WILL evict you. My lease just got terminated in the middle of the school year. They do not give a single care about their tenants. Repairs take many months and many phone calls. Snow removal is non existent. I was a resident at Seneca for seven years. Tons of people have dogs, but people aren't supposed to have dogs.. Seneca filled in two swimming pools which for some reason can't be used as a community garden... Hopefully they add something once the ground settles... They do NOT salt the outside of apartment buildings or shovel. The door to my mailbox was detached one day when I came home from work. I alerted the leasing office, and they never did anything about it. For a while the door sat above the unit of boxes, then it disappeared. I struggled getting mail for a while and eventually made a door out of cardboard. I continued to mention the mailbox issue with no resolution. For nearly three years I did not have a secure mailbox. Good luck living here. Again they do NOT care about their tenants."
