"Susan did an excellent job assessing my issues, which were many, and addressing the most important first. She was very easy to interface with and kept an upbeat attitude. Thank you for you initial assessment. A very good image for NovaCare. This letter of appreciation is for all the staff at NovaCare that helped in my rehab. I would like to take a moment and acknowledge several individuals for all their help. 1. Susan F. Susan , a Physical Therapist, was my first contact. She did the initial evaluation and created a home program in addition to the In house routine, which the other physical therapist followed. 2. Jessica M. Jessica, a Licensed Massage Therapist, found so many knotted muscles which she was able to relax and elongate. What relief I felt and increased flexibility followed. 3. Alexa M. Alexa , a Licensed Massage Therapist, continued the with the same therapy Loosening so many stiff and knotted muscle tissues. After every session I had a much improved walking gait. 4. Melanie K. Melanie, a Physical Therapist Assistant, started my physical training therapy and continued with the massage therapy. She added additional exercises to my home program as well. After a workout the massage therapy and the heating pad with the electrical muscle stimulation felt very good. 5. Kaitlyn D. Kaitlyn, a Physical Therapist, did a re-evaluation of my progress and added some additional home exercises to my routine. She also felt we could cut back from 3 days a week to 2 days a week. 6. Theresa S. Theresa, a Physical Therapist Assistant, continued with the physical therapy, muscle massage therapy, heat therapy and electric muscle stimulation and she added additional exercises to my home routine. After the weight routines the muscle therapy felt so good and with each session my flexibility returned to normal. 7. Ethan Ethan, a Physical Therapist, did my final evaluation. After testing my flexibility and going through some other routines he found me fit to be released into the wild. I also mentioned my neck being a little stiff and he did an adjustment in that area. Thanks Ethan, that really helped. I would like to thank everyone from the people in the reception area to all the therapists for all their hard work, patience and concern. Do to all their efforts I feel like a brand new guy in his 30’s versus someone in their 90’s. I highly recommend this facility and staff to any anyone attempting to reclaim their strength and mobility of years gone by. I am so impressed with everything, that my wife, Elaine, and I will be contacting Kathy Arnold, the Fitness Director, about a membership. Thanks to everyone for making my life fun again. Larry M. "We brought our daughter to see Jason for a swimming and running evaluation. He did an amazing job of talking to her and explaining what was going on and how to help improve her performance. I wish we would have met Jason years ago. He truly cares about the patients and puts them first for patient centered care. "I felt compelled to write a review about this facility because I think their operations are top notch. I tore my left knee meniscus back in April of this year and had my meniscus repaired in late June. Since I am 40, this is not something surgeons normally do because of the high failure rate and extended recovery. I came to Novacare about 6 weeks after surgery and I have completed I believe 8 weeks of physical therapy with 4 more weeks. Prior to this, I had never in my life had joint pain or an injury that required physical therapy so I probably had a predisposed attitude that it was not necessary. Little did I know after 6 weeks in a straight leg brace my left leg was so week I could barely make it up stairs. Prior to this I was cycling regularly, deadlifting and squatting. When Novacare first tested my leg for strength it was shaking like a leaf. I have learned that joint issues take a long while to recover from as rebuilding the muscles is so huge. It is annoying going three days a week but Ethan, Rick and other staff have been great. This is saying a lot because they are super busy. I mean, I never see any physical therapist in the place get more than 3 minutes of breathing time as there is one patient after the other and after the other but they keep a positive attitude, very professional and very helpful. E-stim, massage, stretching, strength training, lateral muscle exercises and my favorite the freezie squeezie (compression Ice) which feels great on the joint. Anyway, gradually getting better and this place has made a huge difference. While I look foward to being done with physical therapy I am enjoying myself and can really see a big change in the way my leg is functioning. 5 stars."
