"Beware of this place! I went in on Sunday because of my severe sinus pressure and headache that I had been having for 2 days now. Dr. Shi barely checked for anything and said just take over the counter meds. I told him I had been for 5 days now and nothing worked. He then asked me why I didn’t go to my primary care physician first. I explained I just moved to the area and haven’t found a new one yet. He then prescribed me penicillin which I AM SEVERELY ALLERGIC TO! Good thing I asked him what he was prescribing me before he left the room. I will not be returning, terrible manners."

"I’m always satisfied with my care at this branch! All of the staff are fantastic, personable, kind, and caring. I have had regular lab work drawn- sometimes weekly- for over a year- and have never had an issue. Even when I didn’t have access to a printer for hard copies of my lab orders, several staff members offered their email addresses for me to send it to. I would like to give a particular shoutout to Ashley, RT who is an amazing phlebotomist, as well as the receptionist that checked me in today (who’s name always eludes me!). Thank you!! ❤️"

"I don’t like to post negative reviews especially about a specific person but I want customers to beware there is a doctor here that doesn’t know the facts of how to treat common illnesses. But beware of Dr. Shi!! Worse service I’ve ever received by a medical professional. Came in with a sore throat and sinus infection on a Monday. He asked if im on any prescriptions and I told him the one im on through my derm but I stopped taking it the previous Friday due to it being difficult to swallow. The focus then shifted to a lecture about how I should have never stopped taking the meds without consulting my derm and the medication treats strep throat too….then how did I get it if I take this med daily? 20 minutes later I finally convince him to test me for strep, he must’ve been so frustrated because he didn’t swab me properly and I got a false negative result. He sent me home with oral steroids to help with pain, but this made me feel uneasy. Flash forward two days later my whole nose is swollen and I have a full body scarlet fever rash due to not being treated for strep. Went to a different urgent care where they told me that my derm med factually does not treat strep and she doesn’t understand why he said he couldn’t prescribe anything else because I was on this med? She looked at my throat (just like other doc did) and told me no matter what the test says she will treat me for strep because of my symptoms. She does a strep test which comes back very positive and now im almost down for a full week because of this doctors lack of care for his patients. Beware - Aultman on East Maple is MUCH better and cheaper. Mercy, why would you open a branch in Plain to then hire a doctor that sends most patients home still sick. A lot of people have had similar situations as I."

"The doctors and nurses here always attempt to help me out when other facilities in the network disregard my health and well-being. There are some disappointments but all in all, these guys have helped me out when all else has failed. Even the ER Department sometimes"
