"Got quoted a price of 46$ for a studio, was told it'd have a kitchen. Got there and was charged 53$ and had no kitchen. Only had an apartment size refrigerator, no coffee maker, microwave or anything. They said king size bed but we got 2 double they called queen. Used 2 pillows each and it was like we had a half pillow. It was clean and the guy was nice but please we should get what we were told. I will go back after renovation to see if they are what they say on line. Also was very clean and quiet! That's a big plus! Maybe look into getting plugs for the tubs so there's a choice of bath or shower"

"Positives: last-minute availability (which I needed), the rate was discounted, and a very pleasant and competent young man at the front desk. Negatives: some sketchy characters including a guy yelling profanities so loudly I prepped myself to call police and a woman who seemed intoxicated and anyway couldn't slide herself out her door and against the outside wall without dropping her unlit cigarette, no fridge and microwave (I may have misread the room details to expect the fridge, but when I thought "that's fine, I'll fill up my ice bucket and chill the food in my cooler" I went downstairs to find the ice machine out of order), the hot water ran out in the shower in about two minutes, the curtains were not heavy enough to keep out all the light from walkway"

"I liked our room, sink area, and little table seating area a lot. That area was very nice! But, there was an inch slot under our door that you could see straight outside, and lots of cold air came in so we had to block it with a towel. Also, the bathroom was quite rough. The bed was comfy though! I feel like the room could have been swept as well."

"We stayed in a newly remodeled room (first ones to stay in the room), and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Overall, it was a very clean room and the staff was very pleasant. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom needs refinished. The shower didn't seemed to have been updated and the shower curtain needs changed. If it wasn't for that, I would've given it 5 stars. You can't beat the price either."

"Very scary place. Tried three rooms. All three were designated non-smoking but smelled heavily of smoke and were otherwise dirty. One room had what appeared to be dried blood splattered all over the curtains. One room had a leaking shower. Could hear other guest's activity through the walls of all three rooms and many guests were hanging out in the parking lot and playing loud music from their rooms with doors open. Had some unsavory interactions with other guests and didn't feel safe. Couldn't stay here and ended up moving on without a refund. Just had to get out of there. Lesson: spend a bit more if you can and get a huge upgrade in quality, comfort and safety. One star is generous. I will say the gentleman working the lobby desk was nice and apologetic (from behind the safety glass), although he couldn't offer a refund because I prepaid on HotWire."
