"Andrew Banyai and Blair DeMinico helped me fend off an unscrupulous abuser of the justice system. I can't thank them enough. Lee County Legal Aid Society IS busy, so it takes time to get an answer and there are more people who need legal help than there are lawyers on their staff, so they do have to turn away clients, which can be upsetting to people, They don't have the bandwidth to update or chit chat with potential clients or clients other than the facts. They have the same amount of time we all have to do their jobs each day, so they have to sparse it out appropriately. They are human beings doing the best jobs possible and don't have superpowers to accommodate everyone's wishes. I had to wait for answers, but patience is part of the program, whether you are waiting to hear if you're accepted or not, or if you have been accepted and have a question. They also offer a helpful panel consultation for free advice, which I took advantage of initially. It was done on-line and was convenient and helpful.
