Hyatt Place Fort Myers/At The Forum 2600 Champion Ring Road, Fort Myers, FL 33905

"DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! We stayed at the Hyatt Place Fort Myers on 2.16.24-2.18.24. The night of 2.16 I found we we were NOT the only ones in room 322. German roaches also occupied our room. I killed about 4 myself but there were grown and many young roaches roaming around. When I told the front desk, they said they are booked out and have no other rooms for us to switch to. However, was told that they would let management know. We NEVER heard back from management or anyone from Hyatt. We were in Ft. Myers for a soccer tournament and knew many hotels were full, so swapping hotels last minute was not an option. When my husband told them about the roaches, all the man at the front desk said was, "Thank you for letting me know." We are disappointed that an infestation of roaches didn't raise much concern for the staff or management. No room swap provided, no management addressed or reached out to us, no compensation or money back was provided. It does clearly show that they have known about this issue and are still accepting bookings before the roach situation is rectified. This is not how a business should be run - this place should be shut down as a health code violation. They serve breakfast to their guests, if roaches are in the rooms, what does the kitchen look like!?! Disgusting. See pictures/video. Two pictures are of two roaches I killed."

"Stains on carpet in 3 out of 3 rooms I’ve stayed in. I have no choice because my company books this hotel. The body wash and shampoo smell like rotten eggs. Horrible. No hair dryer. Shower door missing handle on inside. They say if you want your room clean call the front desk but housekeeping walks in your room unannounced. Caught me in shower. They drape unopened trash bags in trash cans so the guest has to put the bag in can. Printer downstairs out of paper. Out of ink. This current room smells like mildew or pee. Horrible hotel."

"We stayed at The Hyatt for a week while visiting our dad in the hospital. He ended up passing away and Mia at the front desk was very supportive and gave us hugs. Mia would always asks us how we were doing every time she saw us. Room was very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was very good with good quality silverware. I’m vegan so it was a pleasant surprise they had steel cut oats, fresh fruits and fruit salad, breakfast potatoes, and oat milk. Definitely will stay there again because of the wonderful service by Mia and her staff. Thank you Mia (Mama Mia) for listening to us talk about dad and for your love and compassion you have shown us. "Hyatt Place Fort Myers/At The Forum is a pleasant hotel, but it feels a bit stuck in time and outdated. However, everything in the hotel works properly. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff members were friendly and helpful during our stay. A major highlight of the hotel is the amazing hot continental breakfast, which has the same robust offerings every day. Security is clearly a priority at the Hyatt Place, with a well-lit parking lot and free parking for guests. While the elevator could use some updating, the hotel provides a comfortable and convenient stay with caring staff and a delicious breakfast. The location is also great for accessing stores, restaurants, and entertainment. I would recommend to travelers looking for solid value and consistency over modern style and amenities."

"Our first room was not cleaned and had to switch. Changed room and got a room where a very loud whistling noise sounded every 3 minutes. This went on all night with 3 minute intervalls. The staff who came to check it first did not believe us, they came up to our room and heard it and started laughing thinking it was the sound the toilet makes when bring flushed. After we made them stay for 3 minutes the sound of course came back and we were offered a new room. We Have time stamped videos to Share if needed. They promised us full refund ."
