Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers Airport/FGCU

"This hotel seems to be caught in the middle of a remodel. The rooms are a blend of old beat up furniture with new carpet and dated bathrooms. The good- the staff. The front desk staff was phenomenal and incredibly helpful after a chaotic day of travel. The shuttle service was an excellent bonus as they offered to take us to a close but not walkable Target for items we needed after disrupted travel. The shuttle drivers were personable and helpful. The not so good - the rooms and hotel seems stuck between a modernizing update, and old rooms. The furniture has seen better days and appears to be left over from the pre new carpet and curtains. The bathroom had discoloration on the caulk, which appears to be mold. The bathroom was also incredibly small. The room smelled of carpet glue and was a little musty, but the air conditioning unit took care of that. Overall, a great stay in a pinch if you need to have a shuttle to and from the airport and be close to food and entertainment, but I'd like to see what happens as they continue to update the hotel."

"The staff was nice however beyond that the noise level from a neighboring business that apparently opened last summer has not been dealt with and it is impossible to sleep in the hotel. Paying full Price for a room when even with ear plugs, white noise and a pillow over your head you can still hear the music, especially the bass, at midnight is unacceptable. Do not book a room at this hotel if you want to sleep."

"Ms. Linda is a sweetheart. Her hospitality, service, and kindness hugely contributed to the great experience I had at this property. Another positive factor is the location. Walking distance to over a dozen restaurants, and the hotel has a shuttle to the airport. One heads-up, as of December 2023 the hotel is currently renovating. There are some hallways blocked due to construction, and occasional half day utility cut offs, but nothing too inconvenient. To be honest, the hotel is a bit outdated, so renovations make sense. Aside from that, I want to close by reiterating the great customer service from Ms. Linda. Thanks again Ms. Linda, stay healthy, happy, and wish you many blessings."

"A First Class Property....I checked in with a very pleasant gentleman "Ralph" on 11/19...Breakfast was good in the morning. Room was very comfortable. I had noticed I left my laptop charger behind and called later in the day. I spoke with "Becky" who assured me she would call me back after checking with housekeeping. Within 5 minutes she called back and had the charger. I returned to the hotel and again had the pleasure of seeing "Ralph". My charger was wrapped in a bag with a note, room number, I believe the name was "Deysi" . An overall excellent staff, will accommodate your needs, and all very pleasant."

"My 1st room smells like mold, there is mold on the air conditioner panels. Bathroom area is rusty. Keys consistently stopped working and had to reactivate them almost everyday. The worst hotel experience ever. Almost everything went wrong that could."
