"The move in process was made effortless with the help of Victoria Peloso. I felt like my needs were met when choosing the perfect place with my partner and I could not be any happier with my home. Everything was up to date with a nice grand kitchen space that makes gatherings all the more inviting. Thank you again Victoria Peloso!"
"I was needing to find a new apartment community by the end of October, and found a very inviting property called the Luxor Club in Jacksonville's Bayard/Bartram area - but it was a bit too far for an easy move. BUT a sister property was much closer AND had the exact perfect 1B I was looking for - so as of today the Cabana Club is my new home! Victoria Peloso couldn't have been nicer, helping me with the application & leasing process and answering all my questions. Professional, cheerful and making me feel valued & welcome - she is amazing! The entire office team (and the Fort Family properties office teams in general) are good people whose enthusiasm and expert knowledge of the communities they work with is appreciated, especially as moving can be an overwhelming experience. The Cabana Club is an absolutely gorgeous property with spectacular resort-like amenities. My own 1B is absolutely huge (1044 sq ft!!!) with an airy, designer kitchen like I've always wanted - SO MUCH countertop space & so many cabinets! - and the entire unit itself has plenty of storage space everywhere, which is greatly appreciated, as many apartments lack decent storage. And best of all, the prices are incredibly reasonable despite being a luxury/upscale community in a hot market... I'm getting a lot for my money, and considering the people, place & location - this is the best deal AND place to be in the entire city. (This is my new kitchen, with a Fort Family "Welcome Home" gift bag!) "
"This place is great BUT once you move out, they are greedy scammers. They charge you for every damn thing. I was stupid in the beginning because when the lady gave me my keys she told me there was a mail key missing so I only received one mail key. So at the end of my lease they charged me for a key I never got! They charge you for every damn thing in that apartment when you move out and I know for sure I left that place so damn clean. And for anyone reading this if you want to move out make sure you let them know 2 months ahead of time of else they will charge you an arm and a leg which is ridiculous. This place is nice and it gives you resort vibes but management are greedy people, so beware!! I never write reviews but this irked my nerves so bad I just had write and warn people."
"Nice place, and staff is nice when you're about to sign a contract, and terrible when you're moving out. As they don't see you anymore as valued customer, they just want to get as much money as they can from you. In my particular case they tried to charge me for almost everything in the apartment. Please take into account that I knew I have to leave it clean, that's why we spent a lot of time and money to clean everything before move out. Me personally cleaned all the floors and appliances. So actually it was even better condition when we moved out than on move in. Moreover, on move in a manager told me that the price is like that (it's 1.6K for 2 bedroom, one of the highest in a neighborhood) because they do full repair for every new resident, changing carpets, and painting walls. It sounds like that's the reason for a price, so I assumed it's included in my rent, but... At the end they tried to charge me for a new carpet, and a lot of other repairs I hadn't any idea about, like window blinders (it was in the same exact condition β working), or TV mount (I don't know what it is, I mounted TV myself making a few holes in a wall). Finally they billed me for around $1K, thanks God I didn't give them any security deposit. There is no legal ground for such a charge, as I didn't ordered any of these services. Despite of that they even passed this to collections. What an attitude towards a client! Especially this times when people suffer from Covid pandemic."
