"This is without a doubt the most unsanitary place I've ever lived. My child and I are literally physically sick from living here. We have been here less than a year and I've taken my kid into urgent care and doctors multiple times. When we leave to visit family out of state his symptoms go away. I can confidently say at this point (from doctor confirmation) that the illness has been caused by roaches. The building I live in, and I suspect the entire complext is infested with roaches. I realize there is a roach problem generally in the state of Florida but this is truly out of control. In any given day I see multiple roaches in my apartment and at all stages of life big and small. The office has an exterminator come weekly but they only come to treat on request and bc he is so stretched trying to treat as many apartments as possible he cannot properly treat each apartment and often doesn't show up at all when requested. The maintenance staff seem like nice people and I think a few of them do know what they are doing but many only speak Spanish which can make it more difficult to communicate effectively. The larger problem is that it takes forever to get anything done. It took them 3 months to fix the tub that was broken when I moved in. I had to hound them the entire time to get it fixed. The last 2 times I've called about maintenance no one showed up when I was told they were going to. The "renovated" units are a joke. The work is obviously done by an amateur. The water lines on my washer were backwards as is the kitchen sink. The carpet isn't installed properly at all, and is pulling away at the edges of the rooms. The outsides of the buildings are all in disrepair and the landscaping is also non-existent. The small amount of plants they have that are nice are all up by the front office and entrance. There is constantly trash everywhere which is extra concerning bc there are ducks living in the pond and they will get into the trash which can easily make them very sick. Truly I could go on and on, and I cannot emphasize enough to not move in here. Especially if you have children. You are shown a model unit before moving in that is in completely different condition than the actual apartments that you move into. It is a bait and switch. Literally on day one when we moved in we quickly discovered a very long list of things that were broken or in disrepair or installed incorrectly, not to mention the immediate roach sightings. I am so disappointed in this place as I thought I was getting a nice apartment with a gorgeous master bathroom. At this point in the game I am counting down the days until we can move out."
"Bugs are bad and neighbors have the apartments smoked out 24/7. Back gate doesn't work. Your name and apartment # has to be posted in a public space in order to use the workout facility. Which is an invasion of privacy and not to mention very dangerous"
"Five stars for the maintenance crew - quick to reply to calls. The emergency team came out on a Sunday to view a leak from the heavy rain. They came back Monday, and said they will work on the problem the next day. Thank you!"
"Management is rude and has no idea how or what they are doing. The maintenance crew tries but they can only do so much if management cannot conduct a smooth operation. We have been going on 3 years and this is the last time we have resigned our lease. Paying way too much for a one bedroom and if you're late, it's 100 dollar late fee and where that money goes nobody knows. Gates are always broken, trash is scattered all throughout the neighborhood. Got loud neighbors, don't worry, management ignores you when you complain. Rules change all of a sudden, if you're late on rent you can no longer pay online because it's a "privilege" stated by management so if you're late on your rent and you can't leave your house because you're elderly or you don't have a car, oh well, legal action will be taken against you if you don't pay. This place is a joke and people are constantly moving out. Good luck and if you don't care about living in a good relaxing place with no stress, then this is your place to live. Oh..and you will get a threatening call from the corporate as well saying you better pay your rent today or else, even though you got a thirty day notice and you have until the date said on notice to pay, but they call you 19 days in threatening legal action. Management, clowns...Priderock corporate, clowns. Jacksonville circus. Have a good day."
