"From jump back January of 2023 there has been issues . The original apartment I was supposed to move Into wasn’t ready ! Roaches everywhere! Dirty floors and carpet ! So I was gonna just forget it and withdrawal my app ! Mind you I never saw the apartment before move in ! It was very discouraging BUT they put me in a nicer unit next to the lake ! The apartment looked much better but it still wasn’t upgraded like they said it would be . The cab it’s were old and falling apart. It looked like water damage had happened in that unit. I let it be known in my check off list and nothing was done. I hated my home! I couldn’t wait for my lease to be up ! It was old and smelled ! Towards the end I had electricity issues to the point and electrician had to come out and fix ! I was going with out power like every other 10 mins for 2 weeks straight ! Then the ventilation and mold! That had been an ongoing issue for the whole term of the lease. The mold was so bad in my bedroom. The area is small, so in small areas it will make mold, but the way the mold would come back each time after I will call maintenance. They will either paint over it, or he would spray dollar store bleach and told me that is what I should get to clean up the mold! in my bathroom, which pictures are attached that is how it looked towards the end so much so the ceiling was falling. It looked like water was going to burst. I had leaks. When I was sitting on the toilet water, would drip on my back because of the damage in the ceiling! and this is what you guys want me to pay for every month I am looking into legal action due to this matter I am no longer a resident of Bentley Green, but with all of that mold I’m pretty sure it has gotten inside of me. The ventilation was terrible. I could not breathe at night, no circulation in other apartment ! it was an overall bad decision to move there. I never saw the apartment prior to. I didn’t really know what I was looking at. I will say manger Jessica was AWESOME! she worked with me when it came to certain things and I will be forever grateful!"
"I refused to be power played into this. We applied on the weekend before Christmas we make well over the amount required to qualify for the apartment. There have been hiccups in the process because of my husband’s type of work. When we went to check on the status of our application, another representative that we have not worked with before told us what we needed to do to get the ball rolling she told us that when we were approved we’d have 48 hours to come up with the $300 to hold that apartment until the move in date which was scheduled for the 24 of January. The next day our representative called us annoyed with the situation as were we and told us we had 24 hrs to come up with the money so now we have two conflicting stories when my husband went to the office to ask for clarification I was told she was nasty and said 48 hours if we don’t pay by 9am on Thursday she was going to cancel that application. Mind you we have not even seen a unit yet. They want us to put money on an apartment we have not seen. The other thing that pissed me off was I have a emotional support dog who I left at home in Wyoming I’ve had him for 13 years a valid written prescription that states why my physician recommended this therapy. My dog is a senior and a 2000 mile drive would be cruel in my opinion. She told me she would have to call my dr. And discuss with him why I need that dog. I called my lawyer in Wyoming because it sounds like a violation of HIPPA for her to discuss anything with my physician about my medical condition which I am disabled because of. Because of that we will not do anything further with this property."
"Amazing service! All girls were very kind and polite. Anastacia made an excellent job taking care of me. I can not complain at all. She guided me step by step until she gave the keys of my new home. The apartment is in excellent conditions. Cleaning is extreme."
"I’ve lived here for 5 months now. If you’re looking for a place to live I beg you not to move here. I hate my apartment. If I could move without being penalized I would. The bathroom and kitchen is so outdated. The floors tiles in the bathroom lifting up and cracked. There is mold on my furniture. The humidity is really bad in there. Always have bugs on my floor and ceilings. I regret moving here."
"Bentley Green has declined over the years. The overall condition of the community has declined. What most people don’t know is that Bentley Green is one community that is composed of what used to be three separate living communities at one period in time. They have been arranged into three phases which each has a different street address. For such a large community, there’s only a small team of hard working maintenance employees who run around trying to keep up with maintenance of this 30+ year old property. The small maintenance team is sufficient for maybe ONE of the “phases.” This place is falling apart and the staff isn’t sufficient to maintain it to the standard I believe should equate to nearly 2k monthly rent. In addition to the property falling apart and insufficient staff to maintain it, the newest batch of people who have moved in are dirty, loud, hang outside at night, and absolutely destroy this property one section at a time. Bentley Green just installed new gyms and residents are destroying the equipment. Drive around the property and there are broken down vehicles everywhere, with grass growing through the cement around them. The tennis court has half of the fencing ripped out and posts with no net. It looks nothing like the images posted on the site. The washer and dryer facilities here are ok. They work but not what you would expect for the cost of living. Again, looks nothing like the photos published on the website. At any given time, drive through Bentley Green and dumpster trash is everywhere! This is disgusting and stinks all the time nowadays. By now, I figured they could come up with a better solution than having maintenance drive around with a trailer shoveling trash every morning. How about a bigger dumpster or more dumpsters? Nope. The sanitation here has only gotten worse over the years. People are paying a lot of money to stay here nowadays as many have had their rents increased by hundreds. Some are paying more than 2k after $500 and monthly increases in rent. They claim to match the prices of competitors but how about the service, maintenance and the declining condition of the community?"
