"I've have never had an issue with MAA until today. Their phones ring with no answer, EVER. If they respond, its a voice mail with no interaction whatsoever. If you are coming to Jax, stay far away from any MAA owned property. I have a foot of black sludge in my sink, which showed up randomly, and no one is answering and no one is repairing. Absolutely the worst run apartment company in this city!"

"Great area off Old St Aug Rd! Just moved in. This apt was completely spotless when we moved in. I couldn't find anything on the checklist provided from the office for any problems to mark! The appliances are all brand new. The washer and dryer too. High quality also. The office staff have been extraordinary during the process of getting the lease and business affairs taken care of. Katie and Monica are especially knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. My questions left after hours were answered immediately after they opened the next day. The apt I have has a beautiful view. The complex has been very quiet and the ponds Wildlife are really a great addition. So far this community exceeds 5 Stars."

"I am a current resident UNFORUNETLY and i got to say if i can go back in time and never went through with this place i 100% would please do not waste your time and money in this place i have had unlimited amount of BUG problems and mildew they try and send people out for bugs but it does NOT work they sent people for the mold but they just painted over it and when i reached out to them again they pretty much said i have to deal with it and leave my doors open and let my place air out. With that being said and i can go on for days about the other problems including the washer and dryer but take this as advice and please DO NOT waste your time and money for gods sake!!!"

"My roommate and I just moved out after living here a little over 2 years & we couldn’t be happier. This place is disgusting. Management was great upon move in, but after a few months, they started showing their true colors. They don’t give two sh!ts about their residents. Pest control was a pain to get out to your apartment to spray for bugs, usually they never even walked in to spray the apartment (yes, I knew because I had cameras inside our apartment). We’ve had multiple roaches around the apartment so we had to use our own bug stuff. The pond was disgusting, I couldn’t tell you how many dead ducks we’ve found. The kids that live around here are nuts, they love stealing packages, starting fights in the parking lot and banging on other people’s doors. There is also a rooster that is loose (since January 2023) and running around the apartment, he was someone’s pet in building 1, Lord knows how that slipped through management, and is a nuisance. Management does know about this, City of Jacksonville has been notified several times and no one seems to do a thing about it. Upon moving out, when we turned in our keys, they stated that it was mandatory that the carpets had to be professionally done, even though we did the carpets ourselves. We did everything that was asked of us, it’s still not good enough. I’m not sure how it is at other MAAC communities, if it’s anything like we experienced, I won’t be moving into another community that’s run by them in the future. Please do not move here, it is a nightmare to begin with."
