"I stayed here in 2005 after my divorce. I worked at Shands hospital at the time and I did not have a problem at all. I was not with the drama that be going on with those young fast girls that be fighting after the security guard leaves at night. I always felt safe staying here with the guard doing their safety checks and at the gate. Beggars can not be choosers! I was broke, young (I was 19) and a single parent with no place to go and they helped me get on my feet. Be about your business and hang with ppl that’s trying to better their self and you’ll go far. I would only talk with the elderly people that was around. The front staff was helpful and they still go have a range of activities in the gym area. I didn’t wash my clothes there because it looked real bad and it was too small of a place to use with other ppl. They do have a roach problem but it had more to do with the plumbing. I was a neat freak and I still had palmatto bugs in my house cus the sink area pipes were always leaking water. But it wasn’t that bad cus I kept a clean house and see them once every week."
