Citrus Meadows Apartments

"We lived here for two years and enjoyed it. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, nicely tucked away, and we had good neighbors. The maintenance guys are great, timely, and reliable, and the office ladies are good and easy to communicate with. Water, cable, and internet are included with the rent, which is a nice positive, and we liked the layout of our 2/1. We gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 because I think it's a little too pricey for its location, getting through Bradenton city to get to and from work can be a nightmare, and there's no amenities other than water, cable, and internet. No in-unit washer/dryer hooks ups, no pool, no real parks for the kids to play on, no gym or rec center. I think other places offer more amenities and better locations for the same price, or a little more. That being said, we really did enjoy our time living here."

"We have lived here for a few months now and Citrus Meadows is a hidden gem! Tucked away from the busy street, the complex is quiet and relaxing. It’s close to everything including parks, fishing piers, grocery stores, shopping plazas, and the beach. The laundry room is always clean and tidy. Landscapers are here weekly maintaining the grass and have recently planted new plants. We needed maintenance and they came the same day. Tia, the property manager, is amazing and goes above and beyond to ensure move in processes are smooth and stress-free. She responded to my endless questions with knowledgeable answers about the property as well as the neighborhood. We love it here and highly recommend moving to the complex!"

"Living in this complex was horrid. Terrible management, shady people. Car got shot in a random event and had a tire slashed same night, and my neighbors also had their car vandalized. Management did nothing and didn’t even care. Let numerous broken down cars sit and take up parking spaces until people said something when they claim they watch for that. Don’t move here, there’s nicer places in the rental price that they’re asking for."

"We lived there for almost a year. Apartments are nice inside (for the price) and maintenance is very helpful but we had a leak in our apartment from an upstairs unit and they barely did anything to repair the water damage - so I’m pretty sure there is/will be mold in that unit ceiling. When we moved out we hired a professional cleaner and were assured we would be receiving our security deposit. After almost 2 months (which is against FL law to wait so long) they finally gave it to us but made deductions for what they said was “preparing the unit for rental” - which is their responsibility not the previous tenants. I had my lawyer send them a letter which they still ignored. They are lucky I live in PA now and it’s not worth the hassle for me because otherwise I would 100% be taking them to small claims court. Stealing money just because they think they can get away with it. They also received double rent on my unit when I moved out early (my money and the new tenant’s money). Definitely sketchy management."

"Anita, the leasing manager, is wonderful! So easy to deal with, knowledgeable, and was able to answer all my questions prior to applying for an apartment. After being burned by several other properties and losing hundreds of dollars in application fees, we were so happy to get accepted at Citrus Meadows! Our move-in was flawless, we even got a unit with a balcony per my request and they made sure there was one available for us. Brand new vinyl hardwood floors, carpeted living room and bedrooms, and plenty of storage throughout the unit. So happy to have water and renter's insurance included in my rent again! This neighborhood is far enough off main roads that there isn't much traffic noise. The only noise in the community is children playing outside or occasionally some yelling in the parking lot. I've seen a lot of police activity in the area, but there haven't been any gunshots or violent crimes that I know of since we moved in in August. I wish we had a washer and dryer in unit instead of using the community laundry room, and the floors are a little thin so we can often hear our neighbors below us, but those are really my only complaints. I've read a lot of reviews about bugs...I haven't seen a single bug since we moved in other than mud daubers and wasps that build nests on the exterior of the buildings. No cockroaches, ants, termites, bed bugs, rats...and each building is treated for pests on a monthly schedule. The grounds are kept very clean. Maintenance is very active making improvements to the community. I encourage you to check out Citrus Meadows if you want an affordable apartment and a leasing manager that can work with you."
