Americas Best Value Inn Bradenton Sarasota

"Rooms were redone a while back. Compared to the Days Inn and the Motel 6 that are right around the corner this would be the place to stay if you were torn between staying at the other two I mentioned. There is a small pool there but the upkeep is A+. The guy is there every morning working on it. There is a waffle house, McDonald's and a gas station with a little Pizza Hut, Quiznos and a little local place alongside, that has an amazing breakfast. I only mention that because the only thing the Americans Best Value does lack is a good breakfast. There is coffee, bananas and I think granola bars. Overall I'm always happy when I stay here and the rooms are clean and new."

"My husband and I visited Bradenton for a funeral and we decided to stay at the Americas Best Value Inn on Saturday, September 2. The gentleman who was at the front desk was very pleasant. He gave us a room 112 and my husband and I have a routine once we get into our room. We look it over really well and under the mattress. When we looked under the mattress we found three syringes, we went back to the front desk and told the gentleman who waited on us and he was mortified. I felt really sorry for him. He gave us a different room on the second level and everything checked out well. The remote didn’t work for the TV but we felt like that was pretty minor compared to what we just found on the first level. When we were checking in, and there was a domestic disturbance going on, and a police officer was handling it as we were checking in. The gentleman at the front desk apologized for the domestic disturbance. Once we got into our room and got settled, we decided to turn in for the night at 1 o’clock in the morning we were woken up, with the domestic disturbance continuing from earlier right in front of our room. The couple were screaming profanity, and the police arrived again. I would not recommend staying here until management gets in there and cleans it up."
