"The shower is amazing. Like a waterfall in a tropical paradise. Can’t believe i’m leaving a review about a shower but yeah. The houses were built in the early 1900s and equipped with modern amenities. Whole place is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and feels very peaceful and quiet…like an oasis…and yet it is very centrally located to everything. Breakfast was fresh and extremely tasty and the owner’s son definitely needs to explore culinary arts at a restaurant. Owners were very friendly, responsive, and gave us excellent checkin instructions. Highly recommend Manatee Palms. We will be back."

"I stayed at this beautiful place for a few days while visiting my daughter. Amazing everything... room was very spacious, breakfast was delicious, and people working there were very kind. Outside seating was surrounded by greens and flowers!! This place is highly recommended!! ❤️"

"We stayed in room B11 the heat in this room was unbearable! I practically begged the owner of Manatee Palms to lower the temperature in the room. The AC unit was displaying a P2 error code which means the unit was not working properly. We sent her pictures of the Ac unit with the code and the temperature in the room 72 degrees. We asked for a refund on just the cost of the room. We asked to pay for the food we ate there plus the servers tip. We were refused the refund on the room. Please anyone considering staying at the Manatee Palms please ask prior to handing over any of your money if it gets to Hot in our room during the night will I be able to lower the temperature in the room myself. The owner will say no because she controls the temperature of all the rooms there. The house is Maintained at 72 degrees. You are not told that verbally by the owner you find that important information at the bottom of your guests registration in tiny print. Please ask that question then you decide to stay there or go elsewhere. We are good people we were not trying to con this business out of money the Ac unit was not working properly in this room ! In Florida which made it feel even hotter than 72!!"

"Loved Manatee Palms!! It is a very unique lovely home away from home. My room was very tastefully decorated with comfort in mind but stylish. The compound is beautiful and eclectic. Breakfast was fabulous, delicious and healthy which was all house made and fresh. I would highly recommend staying here. Sherry the host was lovely with great communication. Thank you for a great stay"

"My wife and I had a wedding nearby and this location was perfect. It really turned the entire event into the perfect get away that weekend. The room was very spacious and the bed was big and comfortable. Beautiful bathroom. Breakfast is a plus! Would stay again."
