The Greens on 5th

"You didn't provide a walk through nor return a deposit then gave me a debt that is not owed. You need to return peoples deposits. You need someone sitting in the office to provide a walk through but that was never possible. Anytime we ever did get somebody in the office they had a smart mouth and bad attitude. Never could get a walk through appointment. Then to add insult to injury, you charged for damages that were already in the apartment. I have pictures but you didn't want to see them. Then you go to remodel and rip all the stuff out (in a matter of days) that you said was damaged and charge me for it. It wasn't even clean when I moved in! The stains on the carpet that you ripped out through remodel were already there when we moved in. I have photographs/ video. Lived with a rusted refrigerator, nasty stained carpet, and endless amount of bugs, never would replace or repair any of it. The place being a dump is why we moved and I had a child about to start toddling, asked that you replace the refrigerator so my childs hands weren't in the rust on the fridge. You said we are putting all new during remodel. Never could give me a remodel date.Then you charged me for the damages that were never mine. Cant take a walk through with me, look at any of my proof that I didn't do any of those damages. Didn't hesitate to to put it on my credit score though did you.. . You have to provide people with a walk through in a reasonable amount of time and since you remodeled that wasn't even possible. How do you charge people for damages and provide no walk through? I think that is against the law. Brad Howland"

"When I first arrived at the the Greens on 5th, it wasn’t immediately apparent where the entrance to the leasing office was, but after asking a passerby, I found the door tucked behind the stairs near the wavy “leasing center” signs. Having already been to a thousand other leasing offices and having spent countless hours calling all over town for availability, it was no surprise that I was informed there were no vacancies at the Greens either. I was devastated, desperate, and more than a little worried about where I was going to live. Just as I was about to go look for a cozy highway underpass, Maria came to the rescue. Maria is the lovely little lady in charge of the leasing center. After letting me know there aren’t any units immediately available, she asked me details about my timeline/flexibility, then she began calling around to the other properties she manages to see if there was any way she could get me in somewhere. While it would require me to stay just a little longer in my hotel, she identified a unit that will be available soon, gave me a quick tour of the building, and had me complete the application. She is a lifesaver, a pleasure to deal with, and clearly enjoys her job. Between Maria and Jae, the other lovely lady in the leasing center, it is clear that the tenants are well taken care of. While dealing with me, both Maria and Jae managed to juggle a constant stream of tenants entering the office needing help with one thing or another. Their multi-tasking skills were on full display during my short visit. Everyone who came to the office was efficiently cared for, and with me they went above and beyond. Thank you Maria and Jae, you two are the best!"

"This has been personally my favorite experience ever in finding an apartment to live. The complex is coming together real nice with their renovations and the apartment I had was very spacious. I was very sad when I had to move. Jae and Maria when I first met them were very welcoming, professional, and felt like my friends. They are the two most hilarious people I have ever met, and it made my experience living there all the better. I have nothing to complain about this place, it was just great all around."

"These apartments are one of the best in Fort Walton Beach from the staff all the way to the floors. I highly recommend this place to anybody. The ladies in the office really gave me a lasting impression I’m thoroughly impressed. I wanna appreciate and thank everyone in the office from the bottom of my heart. Whenever I had a question they answered with no hesitation. Everything is fully remodeled and new. It makes me feel at ease with moving. Thank you guys again."

"Apartments are a work in progress but overall a good place to call home. Depending on what building you live, there are awesome views. I live on the 3rd floor and love it. My building is modern, has a balcony and plenty of space in all the rooms. The Administrative ladies in the office Jae & Maria are simply the best. Always willing to help, they care for their residents and always in a good mood."
