Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Walton Beach

"I booked this hotel because of a business function that I was attending at the hotel. It was also my wedding anniversary weekend, so I flew my wife in with me. I splurged a little by upgrading the room to a King-suite with a view of the water. The view was absolutely amazing, but (in my opinion) the room was not worth the cost. I've paid less for better. However, I must point out that the service was excellent from housekeeping, the staff in the restaurant, to the front desk (especially Jonique who literally searched out/found some of those amazing cookies from the banquet). I'm not much of a breakfast person but the breakfast was really good."

"Very disappointing for the $3600 we spent here!! TV kept going out (called multiple times, said they'd place a work order but no one ever came in 14 DAYS!!!), Loud AC unit, Ice Machine was out one of the days, Washing Machines were out the whole time and we were told to lug our clothes over to Holiday Inn to use their machines - VERY INCONVENIENT!, Internet Wifi in and out or down the whole 14 days, Pool and hot tub not up to par first few days, then they shut it down and finally was able to use last half of second week we were there, Front desk staff was not at all friendly - NEVER acknowledged us/Welcomed us/never even made eye contact with us the whole time we were there and we passed the desk daily. Housekeeping was the only staff that actually acknowledge us, asked how we were and responded promptly to our needs. Never thought about eating at the restaurant there because staff seemed very unhappy in their positions. One of the only things that was nice about this hotel was the view from our room. Never thought that a Hilton product could be so disappointing!!!"

"Parts of the hotel were a little rough but not a deal breaker. The staff was great! The location has to be 5 stars since it's directly on the beach. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We went there for my granddaughters wedding rehearsal and wedding. The people are very friendly and helpful! The rooms they reserved were perfect for getting ready for the wedding! The view is lovely! I didn't eat from their hotel but I sat with others that did and they talked about how delicious the food is. They were from out of town staying and I'm local. Too bad it was cold because I would of loved spending time in the outdoor pool with the falls!! My granddaughter spent time in the hot tub before we left and she enjoyed it! I would recommend this to all!!"

"I booked 3 rooms at this location. I don't feel the customer service was beyond and above especially during off season. You would assume there is more time. I am a Hilton Diamond member and this is the first Hilton, I feel like the service was not genuine. 1 room out of the 3 rooms I reserved the heat was not working, so they move me to another room which was fine. However, the room I was moved into the Direct TV was not working they put me into a non cable room. Apparently, the week before someone had issues so the cable man fixed it and room from 328 and down it did something to it. The next morning, I head to customer service to see if they can help me. They send a maintenance guy to the room and I am chatting with him and he is trying to fix the cable. The maintenance can't do anything. The front desk guy tells me he feels sorry for me and he moves me to another room. It was the maintenance guy who I felt went beyond and above because he told me he would make sure the heater and the cable worked. And he sure did make sure. Now the lazy pool outside which has a heater and it was broken. They had informed us that the pool piece had been placed. However, talking to other guests they had been here for work since early December and it was not working either. Especially for a an off season you would think all equipment is in check. The weather was cold and the couldn't use the heat pool outside. At least the Hot tub was working. I think that was the best part was the Hot tub. Would I come back to this location , I would really have to think about it. It was a family trip. You would think by booking 3 rooms you would get great service."
