"Stayed for three nights. I'm a Hilton Diamond member. Check-in process could best be described as lacking. It seemed the hotel was understaffed for the upcoming New Year's weekend. They just seemed to lack any sort of friendliness or hospitality. I thought it was just me, but on the second day I was standing in line and this man turned to me and furiously said he was very unhappy with the front desk staff as well. I will say they paid attention to my preference to be on a higher floor to get away from noise as I am an extremely light sleeper. Room- junior suite was stunning. The details and design were top notch. Only strange thing is they have a two burner stove top, but absolutely zero pots, pans or cooking utensils. I suppose you could request them, but I didn't ask. Bath amenities were really nice. Very high end. Pool was okay. Nothing special. The poolside bar was an issue for my daughter who can't eat a speck of gluten. I asked about gluten free items and the first person showed me "gluten free items" and when I questioned someone else they told me nothing was gluten free and everything is contaminated. Lucky for my daughter I am extremely diligent about her celiac disease. Ate at Takato three times. The restaurant is right across the driveway. Will write a separate review. Food was amazing. We did not eat at the new Italian restaurant which opened during our stay as they had only a salad which was gluten free. The beach is okay. I've lived in Miami for forty years so I'm probably spoiled between the Keys, Naples and Sanibel etc. Last comment- I know the hotel is trying to elevate their status but everything they delivered to my room came in a shopping bag including two rolls of toilet paper. That was not done even at the Waldorf Astoria and Ritz Carlton's I've stayed at on prior trips."

"Let me first say that the staff at the Conrad Ft. Lauderdale Beach are very kind, sincere, and helpful, and the location is very nice. This was my second time at this hotel, and obviously, I enjoyed my first stay well enough to come back. I went to check in, and my room wasn't ready, so my wife and I went up to grab lunch at Spinnakers by the pool. The food there is good but not unexpectedly it is quite expensive. After lunch, the room was ready, and we got an unexpected upgrade from oceanfront suite to an oceanfront residence. The room was large and had a good view. For the most part, everything went well during our stay, and they even brought us an anniversary cupcake to celebrate 19 years since the day my wife and I met. Then, on the night before we were leaving, things went south. We ordered room service and were eating our food in the living room area when all of a sudden, a GIANT cockroach came out from under the couch. Our appetite was ruined, so we didn't eat the rest of our very expensive food, and we were extremely grossed out the rest of the stay. Management offered to add another $50 food and beverage credit to our stay, but that discount never came off of our final invoice. All in all, we waisted over $120 worth of room service and never even got a true apology from anyone, let alone any compensation. I'd like to give this hotel 5 stars, but I just can't bring myself to recommend this place to anyone after what happened to us."

"I usually went to Miami area and it was my first time to visit Fort Lauderdale. Location is awesome. Beach is better than Miami. The room is big enough, clean, and has everything. Staffs are very friendly. The pool has enough size and the Jacuzzi is hot enough."

"Stay is over the weekend during Nov 2023. Had a really good experience with the Conrad FT FL. The check in was smooth and communication easy with hotel team. The room was nice and clean the view from the 15th floor ocean front view of the beach. The feel of the hotel is very lay back and easy to relax. Conrad acknowledge it Hilton members. the staff from front desk to pool area, beach and bar all were great and friendly. defiantly will be coming back."
