"Ate here three times in two days. We liked it that much! The sushi is so fresh and well crafted. The atmosphere is beautiful. Only complaint was the first day we ate outside and our server was a 2 out of 5. We placed our drink, appetizer and main course item order all at once, but requested the appetizers be brought out first. We were quite hungry as we were eating lunch around 3pm. I don't know what the server did, but after the appetizers came out I had to ask three times over the course of 30-40 minutes where the rest of our food was. That night for happy hour we sat at the bar and the service was fantastic. All the bartenders were great. The happy hour menu was surprisingly varied. We ordered off of that menu as well as the main menu. The next day we opted to sit at the bar again since the service was so good and had another great experience. If you are gluten free they have quite a few menu options as well. Can't wait to return!"

"Delicious melt in your mouth sushi! The atmosphere had a very sexy vibe. In the main dining area was a moody darkness with warm lights scattered throughout the room. Every table was full of everyone enjoying their meals. We had a large group with us. Amanda was our waitress, she was knowledgeable about the menu and suggested great options for us to have for dinner. She was friendly, professional as well as efficient. The cocktails and meals came out in a timely manner and everyone enjoyed their time. The only distraction was the volume in the dining area other than that it was a great experience."

"Besides for my waitress having an attitude, I enjoyed my dining experience. Everything thing I had was delicious from the drinks to the food. I would definitely give them 10/10 on the food. I also like that the outdoor seating has nice views of the beach. It was super windy outside on that day and we were offered little blankets (not by my waitress) anyway I thought that was also thoughtful and considerate. I would definitely be back and would highly suggest Takato for sushi. It’s truly a hidden gem here in Fort Lauderdale. I’m glad I found it, I usually go to Miami for upscale Sushi vibes and now I don’t have to."

"Our servers were very attentive and changed our plates out frequently. Really great team and always making sure our table was clean and glasses full! Everything was top notch with attention to detail. Pricey but worth the price! Many unique dishes including dry aged fish, we had scorpion fish which is a poisonous fish. Their desserts and cocktails were equally delicious even the cappuccino. Only downside was bathrooms were dirty."
