"Upon my arrival and checking into my room, I noticed a wet towel hanging in the bathroom, giving the impression someone had just used the shower. However, my purpose for writing this review is not due to the towel, but rather an experience with the front desk staff. I needed quarters for laundry and handed over a $10 bill, asking for $4 in quarters in return. Assuming the count was accurate, I didn't verify the amount at that moment. It was only when I was about to use the washer, having inserted $2, that I realized I was left with just $1 in quarters. Recounting my dollar bills, I noticed I was indeed short by one dollar. Returning to the front desk to explain the situation, the reaction I received was defensive, with accusations of me implying theft. Despite expressing my willingness to overlook the missing dollar (and spend an extra one since I need to dry my clothes) the situation escalated unnecessarily. Her friend reluctantly provided me with the missing quarters, each dropped on the table with a noticeable attitude. Confused by their hostility, I was left wondering why I was treated poorly even when I was willing to spend an extra dollar for her mistake. Positives: Parking is free. Rooms are decently clean and have a modern look"
"If I could give this place a negative score I would but the lowest rating available is a 1. This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! We did not have many choices that were not going to cost us a fortune. We chose this location for its proximity to the airport and cruise port and their offer for shuttle to both locations upon arrival and departure. We called the number given to initiate ride from airport and the line was constantly busy for over 40 minutes. We finally took an Uber only to find a lobby full of angry customers all with the same complaint. Answer the phone please! The airport shuttle van was sitting front of the hotel (with a driver in it) when we arrived but no one bothered to answer the phone to organize rides Rooms were even worse than the service at the front desk….. thin blankets that could not possibly offer any comfort and then when we asked for an additional blanket we received a stained cigarette holy thin blanket! Discussing!! Never, Never, Never again. God help the soul who books this place next"
"Poor customer service. The staff are not friendly. They treat you as though their doing you a favor. No smiling faces. This hotel does not honor their policy if you need to come a day later. If you call to inform them of an emergency, you're still considered a no-show, and they refuse to refund you or extend your day with a credit. The manager seems to take advantage of you being tired and tries to make you pay more money. Absolutely no empathy for those who's traveling and tired. Housekeeping is wonderful, very friendly, and accommodating. Would I recommend this place? Only of they changed their manager and front desk staff with the exception of one who has top-notch customer service. This was an extremely bad experience for me. I won't even mention the interior."
"What a billing mess. When I reserved through their app, I was quoted a price and included a deposit from my credit card which luckily, I saved the document. On arrival after waiting in line for about 15 minutes, when I was checking in, they told me I had to pay even more than the total quoted amount in addition to the deposit, which I believed I had already paid. Then they charged my credit card for the full cost of the room again and the deposit. When I showed them my original cost sheet, they pretty much ignored it. When I asked them if they could bring up my original transaction, they said I had to go to the supplier (this was them). About 30 minutes to check in, another 20 minutes to check out simply because I wanted a printed receipt. They just expected me to drop the key and leave. They had to get a desk manager who finally printed a receipt which of course was incorrect. They said it would all adjust out and show on my credit card account. Of course, now I am home and the charges to my credit card are incorrect. I have opened a dispute with credit card company and I have many receipts and photos of the multiple transactions so I'm reasonably certain it will be resolved. If you have the time, go for it, the room was ok for the price but the process was and continues to be a tremendous consumption of my time and effort. The shuttle to the port which we reserved as the first on the list was supposed to leave at 11:00, after the boarding the first shuttle at about 11:30 or so, we were moved to a different shuttle which took us to the port by way of the airport with heavy traffic at the airport and extremely heavy traffic via the alternate route to the port, the trip which should have taken 7 minutes by Google map estimates took just over an hour. So if you are leaving on a scheduled cruise or flight, I would suggest you allow at least an hour and a half more than you usually would and hope the delays are not longer than mine. Considering the many challenges with this arrangement, I believe next time I will select a more reputable entity for my travel and lodging while in the area."
"Stayed here a night before a cruise. Rooms are very nice for the cost. Looks like they were recently renovated. They’re clean, bathroom is clean, shower is clean and water pressure is great. Curtains were nice and sleeping was easy as it was quiet. The con is the location. While on a map it appears there’s a bunch of stores within a mile or so, due to the highways the walk is more than 4 miles. Since we didn’t have a car, there was no place to eat. Not even a gas station to get drinks. They have a food truck that comes for dinner and breakfast, and we ate there for both. Given the literally captive audience, the prices were fine and food was decent. But we’d much rather have had some choices of places to eat, as well as drinks. Overall, I’d stay here again because the rooms are great for the price, but I’d get food and drinks before arriving (if I did t have a car)."
