"I never write reviews, but I was treated so well by Dr. Patel and his team for wisdom teeth removal that I felt I had to in this case. The procedure is not enjoyable - particularly when using local anesthesia only - but Dr. Patel made sure I was as comfortable as I could be throughout the procedure. I think he asked me if I was doing okay every few seconds, which was reassuring and made it easy to raise my hand when I did feel any discomfort (which he promptly addressed). Thank you Dr. Patel."

"I was referred here and I am incredibly happy and satisfied with the professionalism and kindness displayed by Dr. Patel and his staff, as well as their speed! I had one wisdom tooth overall, and it started erupting about 10 years ago. Never really caused problems until recently, and it was growing in slightly crooked, so I got a consult a couple weeks ago and got it removed yesterday. Since my wisdom tooth was growing relatively normally, just slightly crooked, I opted for just local anesthetic and I asked for Valium instead of nitrous oxide (I found it worked well for me a couple years ago for a root canal I needed). Dr. Patel numbed me up so much and so well, and then once that took full effect, he tested poking areas, gave me 1-2 more little shots of anesthetic where I could ever so slightly feel his poking, and then it took about 90 seconds total to get my tooth out (maybe even shorter). Absolutely amazing! Dr. Patel was very kind and encouraging, he told me what he was doing as he worked, and all of this helped me a lot and keep calm. Thank you so much Dr. Patel and team!! My wisdom tooth is finally gone, and y’all made it the best experience I could’ve asked for!"

"Dr. Patel was very nice and detail. He helped calm this mama’s nerves as it was time to get my son’s wisdom teeth pulled. BUT, the procedure didn’t take place and we had to leave right before they were about to put my son to sleep. Long story short, the office staff never warned me about the cost nor explained that I would have to pay upfront and have my insurance reimburse me. While we were on the phone with my insurance while my son was waiting in the chair, come to find out Piedmont Oral Surgery hadn’t kept their in and out of network information up to date. Even though they were listed as in network for my insurance, they really technically were not. If going here, please double check so you don’t get the same surprise. I drove 1 1/2 hours, took a day off work, my son missed school and work….. all for nothing."
