Reviews
"Sorry in advance for the long review: I started donating plasma a few weeks ago and I went the first time and it was okay. Then I went back the second time and the person that was taking my blood was very nice. (which is the only reason this gets a 2 star.) However, I missed a week of donating and I went the following week. I went to sign in and start doing my questionnaire thing and it told me I couldn't donate today and that I needed to talk to someone. I went to the front desk and they informed that my results were not back from Jan 10 and I had to wait for that before I could donate... mind you this was all on the 27th of Jan... What I didn't understand though is that she then told me they usually are back within 7-10 days (which would have been at the latest, the 20th). I also was informed that I could only donate the 8 times within a month and then everything would expire.. so if I missed a week that would knock off 2 times. Which is fine, but I don't understand how if they don't have my lab work from 17 days ago, how I would hold the consequences of not being able to donate... The girl told me to just call back every day and they would let me know when my results where back so I could donate... I called up there a couple of times and left a voicemail and I left the voicemail for a manager and never heard anything and this is a good 30 minute drive for me so I don't want to waste my time going up there again for nothing."
"My visit didn't pan out so well. New donor- new to the process- nothing on website about removing headscarf for picture. They take a picture at check in and then said you will need to remove your headscarf so we can take a picture of your face. Mind you my face is not covered AT ALL. I inquired if Muslim women had to remove headscarf and they said no. (Case closed right? No!) The receptionist is not the best communicator but wanted to lecture me about how the conversation flowed. Upon catching her attitude, she passed the buck to another colleague who retook all my information, (which now there is a problem with lol...go figure). The colleague then does the blood pressure cuff on both arms, and you know what he discovered!!!! He said, "I have no veins!!" Then fixed it and said they are small, you don't drink water yadayadayada. Word to the wise if you walk in this location and the receptionist is frowning and you don't answer her questions with answers she likes, how she likes, YOU WILL HAVE NO VEINS :)"
"Friendly techs, i have been pleased so far. Every experience here has been nice, wait times have not been long, i am usually in a bed pretty quickly."
"I was sitting on the chair donating where most everyone who attended to me was very nice, polite, and professional, except Jordan who was. Very unpleasant and even stood near me complaining and talking about other patients including myself saying things like "this patient won't stop B*******" and "Their machine keeps beeping and it's all her fault" standing right next to me and was beyond disrespectful"
"I arrived for my appointment today, about 5 minutes late due to a line, and had to wait an additional 5 minutes. The receptionist, the lady with glasses and distinctive curly hair, seemed excessively enthusiastic about her job. Unfortunately, she was rude and repeatedly spoke over me when I was trying to communicate with her, which I found unprofessional. My husband and I have been loyal customers at this location for years, and this experience was unlike any we've had before. I've taken the step of emailing corporate and plan to contact HUD regarding her behavior today. Additionally, I believe the manager, who had beautiful braids and eyebrows, could benefit from improved management skills. I had to request to speak with a manager four times after being put on hold three times while waiting in my car and watching the front desk. When the manager finally arrived, her demeanor displayed a lack of concern. It's not just what you say but how you say it, and her treatment of an elderly white lady was also distressing. Another employee, the one with dreads, appeared to want to assist but was unable to intervene. I'm committed to ensuring that such experiences do not occur for others in the future. I wasn't able to donate today, which was disappointing. I had to get a physical, but the frustrating part is that you have to wait for 45 minutes just to be seen. This has happened numerous times before, and it's becoming a recurring issue. The receptionist lacks the appearance and people skills necessary to effectively manage the front desk. I'm sure you'll receive more reviews like this one if this issue isn't addressed promptly. Improving the wait times and the professionalism at the front desk would greatly enhance the overall experience for donors like myself."
