Dollar General

"It's not a dollar store anymore! They can always change it to (5 Star General) It's convenient, however it's not as organized as other locations near by! Keep in mind some prices are higher than the Publix across the street..( kielbasa/ tater tots / hot dogs) sure there are many more items. Everyone knows Publix is outrageous!!"

"I'm always greeted when I arrive here, the staffers are friendly, and there's never a wait to cash out. The store seems to always be unloading shipments, so there usually boxes on the selling floor. But, I guess that's a good thing! I always find what I'm looking for!"

"Again this store could use a little bit of tidying up. Maybe it's just me but most of the Dollar general stores I've been to the shelves are empty and not neat. I've even been in somewhere trash is all on the floor and no one is at the front you have to wait for the for someone to come from somewhere. It's not funny but I was waiting one time and somebody came it's like they just appeared I don't know if they was in the back in the bathroom behind the glass and the little supervisor's office but it took him a while to come to the counter and serve me. May God bless the establishments and allow for better service. Amen thank you. Please understand I do like Dollar general but sometimes it leaves me with feeling like because it's Dollar general we supposed to get dollar service."

"This store is poorly managed. There was only one employee and he was completely overwhelmed. He was trying to unload the dollar general truck, check the coke order in, and run the register. I had to walk to the back of the store into the store room to find him in order to purchase my items. The store is crowded with merchandise carts in the aisles and it is dirty in general. I feel like the employee was doing the best he could, but I think you are putting him in danger. Anyone who is untrustworthy could have walked out of that store without paying. This store is notorious for dirty conditions and not enough employees. Someone from the home office should make a surprise visit. I certainly hope something can be done to remedy this situation. I will find another place to shop."

"Edit: Having taken some time off from coming to this store, I recently visited it again. The store was much cleaner, up to date with other nearby Dollar Generals, and the staff were running the show smoothly. I am happy to upgrade this review frim 3 to 4 stars. The store is messy and a bit dirty all of the time. They are understaffed, however, most of the staff are polite and helpful. You can normally find what you are looking for here, but may have to settle for off brand or lower quality product."
