"I had an experience with my upstairs neighbor letting the dog out to urinate on their patio which ran down onto my patio for weeks. I reported it multiple times over about a month. The tenant was threatened with eviction and it finally stopped. My patio smells like dog urine and I can't even keep the door open. The neighbors never take the dog out to walk it or go to the bathroom. They are loud and inconsiderate, always running and stomping. The property management is horrible and slow to take effective action."
"DO NOT MOVE HERE !!! Listen to the reviews from actual tenants and not people who only skimmed over an application. Hands down the worst place to rent. Upon moving in, our unit was roach city. No matter the time of day, wherever you turned there was a roach or two smiling at you. Not a single room was without a roach. Worst part is they try to convince you it’s okay. We didn’t grow up with roaches so why should we raise them?? My sister and I were so upset we wrote a bad google review and that made things worst for us so we deleted it in an attempt to have a good relationship with management. Fast forward, new management comes but we literally had no interaction until it was time to terminate our lease. Our lease ended on August 19, 2023. Upon departure I provided our forwarding address, phone number and email address for further communication. In September I contacted the leasing office in regards to our security deposit and official move out statement. I also mentioned that I was receiving calls from a debt collector with a 786 number (Miami) and was that legit. I was told that we didn’t owe a balance and I should’ve received my full security deposit back since it was sent to my Echelon park address. BUT I DONT LIVE THERE ANYMORE. In October I received a follow up call stating that a new check would be issued. On November 27th, 2023 I drove over an hour to the office to ask about my security deposit. Ms. Markeya assisted me and gave me an itemized move out statement and told me that I have a balance that would be subtracted from my security deposit. On December 6th I received a credit alert that a collections account with a balance for $138 was added to my account from Echelon Park. That balance was sent to collections on September 22nd. If I owed a balance, why was I not sent an official statement of the amount owed, or why wasn’t the amount subtracted from the security deposit that was held for months. Matter of fact, why did Echelon Park lie to me that the debt collector calling me wasn’t legit. I have never in my life had anything sent to collections, let alone paid a bill late. This has caused my credit score to drop almost 100 points. Absolute madness. I’ve tried calling and emailing Echelon Park and they ignore all communications. Point is, despite whatever management they have, they’re unprofessional and mean spirited people. Dealing with them has caused unnecessary stress and I regret moving there."
"I would like to acknowledge the fact that my experience with the staff and specifically Dnaymi has been nothing short of amazing. She is so patient and has answered each question I have making the application process so smooth. She has taken the time to ensure all my needs are met regarding my move in, and even though I have so many questions she is always so help. I am excited to move in!"
"This apartment complex is by far the worse place you can live. I have recently moved out and they refuse to give my deposit back. I have been told the regional manager will be in contact with me now for a month. May I add that the day I moved into my apartment there was broken glass on the floor, busted lights and mold. There was never a walk through done prior to me moving in. I have countless of pictures and emails from the past 2 years of all the things that I have had to go through. Most recent is my health issues from the mold. I have had to see multiple specialists whom all agree it is from the mold especially after I shown the pictures of my air filter (that I had to purchase). I will be posting pictures as well. The AC NEVER worked and my bill was never below $250 because it was always having to catch back up. Trying to get someone in the front office is awful. They treat you like trash. They are telling me because I didn't give a hand written 60 day notice on my lease that I can not have my deposit back. May I add it was an extended 3 month lease they said they needed a 60 day notice. I gave a month notice. How can you give a 60 day notice on a 3 month lease? This is just the beginning of it. It only gets worse. Please DO NOT live there! Especially if you have children. Please RUN away and RUN FAST!"
"General Public Warning!!!!!!!!! This i one of the worst experiences you’ll ever encounter once you sign on the dotted line! Avoid this place like the plague! Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Avoid!!!! Avoid!!!!! Avoid!!!!! Avoid!!!!! Avoid!!! Let’s talk about the place first and then we will talk about the people. This place has the worst maintenance culture. The first day of our scheduled move in date (Friday), the unit was not ready. We had NO hot water! Listen the hot water was not even turned on and by the time we noticed it the leasing office was closed and the maintenance left for the weekend! Our hot water was not turned on till Monday late afternoon! The kitchen sink was leaking for the entire length of stay. We had to use towels every day to keep up with the leak. We had NO access to our storage unit…. And when we did gain access about one week after we signed the lease, we spotted mold on the walls! The mold was in the hot water heater closet and should have been noticed way before we moved in! The STAFF…. Rude as hell and unresponsive to any work orders and or unit concerns. The property manager, IRISH CLARK, is horrible at her job and ignores all tenant complaints and concerns! It’s extremely hard to get anyone on the phone and there is always a new leasing agent in the office due to their high “turn over”! GOD…. they didn’t even have our mailbox keys on the day of move in. All the staff is INCOMPETENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We moved out 16 days after moving in… YES we broke our lease and moved the hell out 16 days after moving in! We deserve to be in a place that respects and appreciates their tenants. They don’t value even one business!"
