Mountain View Inn

"I am happy so many people enjoyed their rooms. But my wife and 2 daughter's and I reserved the "executive suite" but it is far from a suite. Upon first look the cheap furnishings and stick on floors give you that this is nice feeling that is quickly taken away. The garbage can was full to the top, the stick on trim on the counter top is coming off, the blinds are broke, the view out the back is nothing to be desired, and the view out the front is the road. When parking with a larger vehicle it isn't fun because the lots are small. There is not even a cheap coffee table to eat your breakfast at or a spot to set your shower stuff in the shower. And that leads me to the towels you would think oooo white towels they must keep them clean, far from the truth they are all stained with God knows what. Oh did you want to use the internet or the smart tv? Good luck Netflix crashes because of how bad the internet is, you might be able to send a email if you are lucky. That leads me to the only good quality which was the initial communication upon booking our stay and the only reason it gets 2 stars...."

"Booked a spontaneous trip to Chattanooga from South Georgia, and this place was perfect! Found it on airbnb, and for the price I was SO pleased! No issues, no hassles, comfortable beds, nice views. Loved it and will stay again!"

"Great for a couple!! Shower was small but worked for us. Close to Ruby Falls & Lookout Mountain!! Clean room & Jeremy was very helpful suggesting a great place to eat after a long trip!! Price was great too! Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Chattanooga!!"

"My fiancée and I have become rather frequent renters of these rooms. We’ve been to almost every single one and love this place. But this one experience has made us question if we will continue to stay here. We arrived about 12-1 after a late night trip and we needed a quick place to stay in the area. I go to take a shower, and see blood on the shower walls. Also small hairs in the bathroom sink. The hair didn’t really bother me, the blood did. We wiped it with a towel but didn’t have anything else to clean or sanitize it with. I then emailed Jeremy, the owner, about the situation and how it was unsanitary and we were concerned (I included pictures!) and was ignored for 1-2 days. I then found his number and texted him. He apologized and stated he was out of town and would contact me in a few days when he came back. But in the meantime, he’d have the person watching over it to contact me. It has now been a few days with no one reaching out about this situation! It’s frustrating because we love this place so much and have never had a sanitary or customer service issue. And nothing is being done to take care of it. We paid a fee to insure that the place would be clean... it made me think that if they neglected their own blood in the shower, what else did they neglect to clean?! VERY upset about this and the fact no one has contacted me to resolve this."

"This was in a great location for our stay. Wish the bathroom was cleaner, especially because the cleaning fee is so high. There was quite a bit of mold all over. The roaches were also not a highlight. The AC worked well, and the bed was comfortable enough."
