"My husband and I lived in these apart for 5 years. We were ALWAYS great tenants, in good standing. Earlier this year we started to have problems with a man that lived in another building. I did not feel safe in my apartment, much less walking around with my toddler, and I carried mace everywhere I went. I informed the office staff the first time we encountered this person and was told it would be taken care of. Nothing was done and his anger continued to build, this man was TOTALLY off his rocker, until he threatened to KILL my husband. We called the police, got a police report, and again informed the office. We were told the man would have to leave. He never did. The police told us they knew this man and had previous run ins with him. We ended up having to break our lease and move because we felt so unsafe. We informed the office over a month prior to our leaving. The apartment was totally empty and cleaned. We paid over $600 because we moved out on the 5th of July. We paid for rent and services for those days. I spoke with the higher ups (Lynn Mauldin) and gave her all of the documentation of the police report. After that point, she wouldn’t return any calls or emails from me. She turned over a balance to collects, of over $3000, the amount of time it took them to rent our apartment. My husbands life was threatened. I guess that doesn’t suffice breaking your lease."

"Please do whatever you can to not live in IRT complex. They do not care about residents. Workers here are great, but it is a billion dollar fortune 500 company owning and running the complex here. The only security is around the office, and there is ALOT OF CRIME HERE. Our fire alarm, along with many other buildings, has been falsy pulled multiple timea. I personally have watched 2 groups of people, locals..., try to open my cars door after 1am. The office ado not care about the residents safety."

"This place is literally trying to extort my wife and I. We lived here for over five years and were great tenants and then had some issues within the last year from somebody that they clearly didn’t run a proper background check on. After two altercations with this man, him threatening to kill me, my wife and our three-year-old son no longer felt safe, we gave ample notice ( 30 days) And we broke our lease. We were told that there was a balance of roughly 600 something dollars that we paid. Now they are coming back and literally trying to extort another $3000 out of us. Clearly tenant safety is not a concern for these people, as you wouldn’t be trying to extort money out of somebody that solely left for fear of their safety. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable in EVERY WAY. Just another greedy corporation only concerned about profits and losses. Do yourself a favor rent elsewhere."

"WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX AND WORST EXPERIENCE YOU CAN THINK OF DEALING WITH AN APARTMENT COMPLEX. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT MOVING HERE DONT. I live in building 4. I’m leaving this review because I wish someone would’ve before I made the choice. I honestly don’t know where to start… mold and excessive gnats issue due to water damage from natural cause for one and from a neighbor having a flood. The office neglected to do anything. Water spots in our ceiling along with water damage from the fridge that maintenance has come out 3 times with no resolution. Multiple fire alarms being pulled almost every other week and shootings. Multiple Car break ins and cars getting stolen and the office won’t inform you about. The kids running around playing ding dong ditch all day along with throwing food at your door. Parking is horrible, having to park at another building just to walk to yours in the back is crazy. I’ve lived here for two years paying for pest control and haven’t seen them come and spray not once. You’re paying for amenities but the pool is always closed and when it is open is disgusting. The car wash never works I wouldn’t even call it a car wash. The only good thing about this spear is the apartment manager/ assistant named Lacey she is very helpful to the best of her ability and is probably the only reason the complex is running."
