"We stayed here in October 2023. By far the BEST customer service I have experienced anywhere and we have traveled the world. From the owner to front desk to Grumpy the repair man - everyone was so lovely and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The front desk (Barbara if I remember) gave us great recommendations. Location is fantastic - right in the historic area, easy walking to all major sites. The other big plus is an on-site pub and restaurant. Food was great - make a reservation because it books up. We hit the pub almost every night, fantastic unique drinks with a super friendly and cozy atmosphere. We will visit Savannah again and we will definitely stay here. It made for a truly memorable trip. Love 1790 Inn!!"

"First night in Savannah. Had a wonderful meal in the restaurant. Sautéed shrimp and Lamb Shank. Got honey biscuits before the meal, which is a nice touch. We were seated next to the piano player. I thought it might be a little loud, but ended up being just right. Service was very good. Be sure to save some room for the Bread Pudding ala mode."
